My 318i - approx 500-650km and the missus' - 318is 650-700km...which makes me believe mine could do with a decent tune...it is still a far cry from the 250-350km i get out of my Subaru and 300-350km out of the Paj. Per 100km in the E30 (M20B20) i got around 9/100 which was pretty good for how i drive. I havent had the volvo long enough to know yet, but its about the same. I love driving too much and am still a bit heavy footed to get a decent mileage around town. However, Auck - Tga - Auck leaves just over a quarter of a tank. kingkarl 136 Report post Posted July 13, 2010 89 Toyota Corona Best open road 6l/100km, usually about 7 though round town 7.5 if I'm driving normally, 9.5-10 if I'm thrashing it The old man's X5 3.0d is crazily efficient, 9-10 around town and 8 on the open road. Not bad for a 2100kg truck with average aerodynamics. One time he got 12l/100km towing a boat full to the brim with crap and driving pretty spiritedly. Town about 16L per 100kms E39 530i open road 9.1L per 100km also with the odd full throttle burst. Town about 13L per 100kms. Could probably do better, but fun vs economy, fun usually wins! My OBC is reading 8.9L/100km, but I don't believe it. How accurate are these? I'm too poor to fill the 75L tank to test properly . When I first got the car on the road it got up to about 16L/100km.
