Eaton out of a mini would be a great option, my first choice actually. But picked the SC14 for its price, versatility, the magnetic clutch option meaning its only on when I want it, like how your ac works. its a sidegrade, something to play around with when I want, not looking for high numbers to call it an upgrade.

Schmiedmann used to sell them but can't see it on their website currently. I think the plus side is you don't get the ugly "GTR" vents and fitment will be perfect because you're fitting to your OE bonnet not an aftermarket CF one. Probably a fair bit cheaper. I seem to remember they dome and vent was about $300 + shipping from Schmiedmann. I thought about it for my E39 but decided it was a bit OTT but for your project, perfect!

I do realise this and agree 100% with you on this. I'm not in any way saying a more knowledgeable explanation of the suspension components is not required, because it is. I was more getting at the fact that just because everyone on here doesn't have that kind of knowledge, it doesn't make it okay to criticize other members' input into this thread to the extend of Ron's comment, although I do appreciate his knowledge. I'm here to have friendly conversations and learn things not get put down for comments I make

Have you ever considered that not everybody wants an over complicated answer about their car's components and wants something in lamens terms that everybody understands? Not everyone has such biased views like you, so calling other people's comments simplistic, subjective, and meaningless isn't really appropriate

What is so amazing about AC kitted bmw's? Personally, appearance wise...Motorsport kitted bmw's loom so much better, but that is just my preference, aside from Any mechanical upgrades.
