Hi Dyl, just read that you did import your M3 from Japan yourself and are open to help others out who'd also like to do something similar.

I'd like to import a 5 series touring from Japan (there are lots of them available on JCT (Japanese Car Trading , e.g. this one https://www.japanesecartrade.com/12333776-japan-used-bmw-5-series-sedan-car-2017.html ). Low mileage, lots of space, advertised at a good price. I use the car to go camping and to head out surfing perfect space for long boards the roof of a touring :) I'm nuts but aren't we all a bit. I have a 530 i from 2005 and had lots of fun with it, it is getting rather old though.

Is JCT the company you bought your car with ? And how do I go about it.
