We also really enjoyed the day, a challenge with some of those directions around Palmy and we'd definitely do it again. Only thing that could be improved was to highlight upfront the times per stage and that we'd be deducted points for coming in ahead of time. We unfortunately found out at lunchtime that we'd been deducted points for driving above the speed limit..which the wife is adamant that she hadn't. Plus we didnt need to slow below 100 in most cases as I had a really good map (for when the street signs had been removed...). I suppose she needed to drive like that with a little red E30 325i buzzing around on your rear bumper...eh Ian hehe For Lunch we arrived first and were told we had 30mins until we started again, so we didnt get lunch thinking that we'd be off again...only to wait for an hour Oh forgot to add that the questions could be shorter, trying to read the cryptic messages, search on a map and not be sick are quite difficult...don't think I saw much countryside. However an excellent day, a big thanks to all involved.

I've ordered a new one from BMW Germany... over $350.

Ok the rear wiper on the Compact work fine, but the wash function doesnt work. I've checked the rubber hose on the rear wiper and this is clear, the washer pump with the hose removed works well. However, I blasted some air down the pipe to the rear of the car, all I got was rusty water coming out?? Somewhere in the wash system is their a valve of some kind to stop water running back etc? Just wondered if this has rusted and is blocking the water flow? Any ideas>

So its looking like I need to find a good 318 either coupe or saloon. How hard is it to swap from an auto to a manual?

Thanks guys, I did check the dip stick and it looked normal, the light hasnt been back on and I havent added anymore oil. I'll keep an eye on it.

If I was buying for my silver 330 Coupe, I'd probably go with the black wheels

Ok weird question, but do you have anything for the Compact, any ideas on a suitable bodykits? Or is it easier to get some of the guys on here to look for the M3 kit made for the Compact?

I like those Black faced alloys, but on a dark blue car they'll look weird, plus has the coloured alloy trend now had its day?? M6 Replicas in 18 for either my 330 or the Compact Hmm?

Guys When starting the oil light illuminates red and goes out as per usual, however after some hard driving the oil light sometimes flickers on in yellow?? What does this mean... and do I simply top the oil back up? Looks like something for Page European to sort in its next service. Paul

Great stuff, so most of the lights can be altered to clear... just need to find some M3 style rears and a decent exhaust. An e36 M front end and side skirts... then search for a new rear end. I'll need to look at the 18's on a 318...may look a bit weird, but I'll contact Suspension for some info. Thanks for the 318ti site, I'll give it a good search... have you managed to get permission to modify your wifes Compact yet?? The front seats should be able to be swapped easily...not sure on the rears. Any decent performance mods? Apart from a 328 or M3 engine
