Hey guys, if i leave my car a few days my battery goes dead etc, and randomly last night after work it wouldnt start either, is there a way to find where the drain is coming from or do I need to take it to an auto sparky? Cheers Linden

I was thinking of cutting some housings in half, and joining them, a left and a right part looks like it would bolt up i have 3 housings sitting there but need a 4th, I havnt seen this done before so hopefully the light throw is sufficient with the cutoff plate removed, just took one apart aswell didnt realise it would only take 30 secs to do lol..

Alright so the thermostat housing cracked on the m50, (part 4 on diagram) Ive just replaced this, and now my temp keeps pushing its way up even with my rad fan set to on, ive taken thermostat out and tested and it still does the same, It usually sits at about 90° on the guage btw. This cant be just a case of not having anti freeze in it can it? thought i'd ask before i go and replace the waterpump (ive taken the top rad hose off and stated the car and water still comes through but unsure of how fast its actually supposed to pump) Cheers Linden

Clutch has always been fairly heavy never bothered me tbh (Pressure plate is 3350ft/lb i think) i just dont want it happening again as i have to pull the box off to get that stupid rod and sealout.. is the E34 physically much bigger as its quite a tight squeeze in there lol

Ok so after actually pulling the slave off, the seal blew completely out not just split so the seal and rod are inside my bellhousing f**k

Hey guys last night i had an annoying mishap at the most annoying time, the clutch slave cylinder burst a seal, pissed out all my fluid and jammed the pushrod all the way out holding the clutch off.. I replaced the clutch slave cyl. about 2 months ago after I put a new 4puk clutch in and the last one shat out, it only takes about 3 cm of pushing the clutch pedal to disengage so when i was quickly changing gears i would have pushed the pedal hard to the floor. Do i need to get a different slave cylinder or put in a clutch stop to stop this from happening again? has a E36 ZF 5sp box in it, unsure of what the master cyl is... Cheers Linden
