the reasons people dont like to put a plate up is that most details about the car are given at some point online, ie what modifications / specific parts in the car, sometimes people will talk about the cars security systems in "recommended alarm" threads... then they get there shopping list sorted, get the addy from the plate, they already know the alarm system is a XXXX9200 v2 and say goodbye to your ride.. think about it. dont post other people plates without asking.
