I haven't posted for a little while. The car is still going well. Took it to a playday at Manfield in feb. Got it a 1:30.8 out of it. Most laps were around 1:32.

Can I get the sump off with the engine in place?

I've got a 740i with the M60B40

After a bit of a thrash it now has no oil pressure.

At first when it happened I turned the car off, then restarted it. It was fine for about 1km and then the oil warning came back up . Now the oil pressure warning is on all the time and you can hear that it has got little or no oil pressure.

With my build the car being right hand drive was a problem so the old steering box and brake setup had to go.

mine got tuned today

I'm only 28 Eddie , I was born in 1981 you see. I barely remember Bathurst 1988, '89, '90, '91 and '92 but still think these cars can't be beat by today's standards. I love anything from the Group B era too

A lap in the bmw, pretty boring really

Taupo was a great day. We had a little rain but also got some dry laps. Had a camera in the car in the morning but its pretty boring to watch. The best lap on film is a 1.56

I wasn't expecting much from the car compared to the gtr but it was really a lot of fun, keen as for this Saturday.
