Ok, so you've taken the 2 big subframe nuts off, and the plates on each side which fix back to the sill, and removed the driveshaft? Chances are that it's just binding a little, chuck your jack back under the diff and take the load off it, ie jack it up until it's about level. Then just shake it all about, and try to lever the sides where the big bushes are, it should come down fairly easily if it's straight, let the jack down as the front comes down.

Any idea what they weigh Johno? Thanks

If it's the M40 engine then it's probably the hydraulic lifters. If you don't get them fixed, either cleaned out or replaced it will eventually lead to a worn cam and a very sick motor. Would pay to get them checked.

Lost mine completely on Saturday morn for 4 hrs, telecom have a fairly major router problem I'm told. Typical.

Tyres, Offsets, Lowering, Suspension Geometry Etc

Thanks a lot 3pedals, just what I hoped to hear. So fronts should be 215/50/16, and rears 235/45/16 to fit my rims, or could I compromise for practicality's sake with 225/45/16's all round, to allow tyre rotation and make spares easier? These sizes and profiles are very close to the stock 195/65/15 standard wheels. Just going to do some research on the camber corrector thanks. -
Not sure on the eyebrows? But excellent job, love the look, white is the new black.

If you're anywhere near Botany, see Glenn at Botany motor works, on Te irirangi behind Shell. He'll see you right, or at least tell you what's wrong.

Go to your Trademe home page, scroll to the bottom and click on "postage Centre" There is a list of companies there who will handle all your needs. Obviously with Tm taking off there is a demand for this service nowdays. I've used Move it, found them very good.

Great idea guys, here's one for you to start with, E28, 535i, manual, looking at coilovers on all 4 corners, have a set of 16 x 7 1/2's et 17 so far, what tyres should I be looking at, size and profile, for track and road? Thanks. -
Ouch, that's hot.
-
E28's E34's, most of the bigger pre E39 stuff I believe, Brent and Marty will know.
-
Wrong offset for e36, fit 5's and 7's.

Hi Alex, I've got the manifold, and would love the M30 bits. When suits you, could be there tomorrow? Cheers, David. Will call tomorrow.

Bloody hell, that's one long page. Did you read it all Graeme? Oh well, guess that's my weekend taken up, will it make my race car go faster, or just save me gas?

Paddy's is the same, it just sticks out a bit.

I'm guessing you start with 5 blue squares and they knock 1 off every time you get a warning?

I just run standard front and back in mine, with a headunit with front audio in for my mp3 player, works fine.
