Supply Josh, I was lead astray a bit by the lack of a signal at the injectors, and what I thought was a lack of spark signal, which was actually there all the time, just not showing up on my meter. Just a small timing issue to sort and hopefully running this arvo.

731 is the casting number for a E30 320i head, 885 for a 325i head.

It runs, a bit rough and a few things to sort out still, but thanks to Gavin it is firing now. Fuel problem all along. Will get it all back together and hope to get it tuned next week. It's coming Steve.

Never came out on that car tho did they? I know for sure you can't change the front lips, and am pretty sure same applies to all body panels, incl. bumpers. Thing with p/f lift is the height of the back arches, don't look as good as the f/l cars.

As far as I am aware, you must run the bumpers skirts etc that came with your car, p/f on p/f car etc.

That's right, I'd just be putting a lsd centre in my diff if I was you. That chart shows about 2200 revs at 100ks in 5th, that's real cruise mode, The idea of a manual box is to create some zip and acceleration? 3.45 will have you at about 2500 at 100kph, more than acceptable I would have thought?

Is it the standard 5 speed overdrive getrag box? If so, personally I doubt you'd want to go any higher than the 3.45, and probably would be better with a 3.64. 3.25 with an overdrive box will be fairly sluggish down low, I run a 4.10 in my E28 with the same box and engine.

Go single mass, less weight to throw around, so will rev better. May have pedalbox from a 6 series here somewhere, will let you know. What ratio is the diff at the moment, and is it 6 bolt side covers ie med case? If so, you'd find it cheaper to fit a lsd centre, can help here also. Neat project.

I have 3 lsd centres for sale, just arrived and I want them gone, so for you boys, $500 each. These bolt straight into any med case diff for E28 and E30 amongst others. First in first served.

Agree completely, I'd think mid teens are very realistic. They are very nice cars, good luck with the sale again.
