  8. I know where you're coming from, but those are all excuses you've listed. If you want to do something badly enough you find a way, so just do it.
  9. Sorry Mitch, you don't know what you're talking about on this subject, they are a great tyre for what they cost, and better than most which cost twice as much, when used in the right application.
  10. Depends whether you are there for a whole lot of fun, great company and bullsh*t, or to run at the very front. My 5 cars have all been on the track for under $12,000 to start with, one was only $10,000, and were all capable of running top 10 at any time. But I also know of people who run up bills around 20 to 30 k a year trying to get that last little bit out, IMHO most of them would be better and faster spending the money on driver training, wouldn't have so many repair bills as well.

  12. You better add shaved head and block, race cam and remap.
  13. I've spent a lot of time in an E30 on the track at Puke on test days, and the worst thing about them is the lack of straight line speed. I can't recall a time when a road car has been able to keep up anywhere other than the back straight, and most of the time road cars are the moving chicane, getting in the road and slowing you down until the back straight comes along. I'd rather track the E30 than any road car at Puke for straight fun, and going around Jennian at 170 odd ks is the biggest buzz you'll get, still my fav corner anywhere I've driven.
  14. 1.14 at puke, and 1.22 at HD in race trim, the 320's are faster again with the ballast weight out.

  16. Exactly the same dims from side plate to side plate, and the mounting points. They are a straight swap.
  17. Not needed for any standard E30, 325 or otherwise, I haven't seen any of the race cars screw shafts yet.
  18. Small case and med case are interchangeable without having to change the driveshafts, any ratio diff, small or med case will fit any E30.
