  1. CGA won't cover you for 3 years. Mbi is handy because if something goes wrong you pay your excess and repairs get done, no struggling to find 1500+ for possible repair. Plus you can have several repairs which would stack up. I'm not familiar with the common issues on the G20s.

At the end of the day it's each to their own.

I had the same thing on my 94 316i compact! Worse thing was it was dealer serviced most of its life, and had 220k on the clock.

Just because it's dealer serviced doesn't mean anything if the owner declines to follow the recommendations. Usually once it's out of warranty, customers don't really seem to care

Yeah will give them feedback regardless whether it gets resolved this week or not, would expect much better with the amount of money you're shelling out. It's a tricky one as the next closest certifier is all the way in Timaru so really wouldn't want to go on a full on war path and end up in the guy's bad books if I ever need stuff certified again...

Plenty of people go to Timaru to avoid the dealing with the Christchurch fellas. There is a new guy starting up in Rolleston I saw on the December newsletter but not sure how long until he is up and running fulltime.

Some people couldn't handle alternate view points without crying. Same reason any Off topic discussion tends to gets shut down.

Funnily enough neither could he. Usually it would start off ok then end up with here is 26 reasons why I'm right and your wrong
