No just stating facts, reasoning behind the airbag recall has no link to whether the airbag light is present on the dash. Your anti dealer tirade is getting pretty tiresome

Airbag recall is about shrapnel flying at your face when it goes off so not related

Clock spring is likely suspect if horn isn't working. Does it multifunction wheel? Any of those functions working?

I'm stunned they completed the recall work without first requiring the pre-existing fault to be addressed.
Why?

I was thinking about dropping in a m62tub44 into an e36 hatch. Any idea level of work that would go into it?
Quite a bit. Main stuff is sump and oil pump placement of which there are 2 off the shelf kits which solves that. Need to move/delete ABS unit, front sway bar, modified steering shaft, exhaust manifolds. And other general engine conversion type stuff. Should be fun

The standard e36 have a rev hang issue which bothers some people mote than others. Would imagine something similar possibly?

Is it an excessive amount? You can/do get some when it carries out a DPF burn off

Standard ones? I have set but there are 3 types. One has 3 studs on the down pipe, the others have 4

Try Diesel Services here in Christchurch

Now parting this out - will update the first post. Pretty all the interior is gone bar the steering wheel, indicator and light switches.

I based it off UK prices as they scrap them for about £800-£1000 for the cats. Since had a few quotes for the cats here which have been next to nothing in comparison so who knows what they are worth here

Also might be in need of a driver side mirror if it isn't knackered.
No sub sorry. The chromatic has gone on the driver's mirror but rest of it is ok

Would you say it's getting worse? Do you know if the HPFP was replaced?

Stunned in so far that they did what they say they would do? Maybe tirade is a little harsh but you certainly have a narrative against dealers which you love to push whenever you have a chance. But that's OK, take your ball and go home when things don't go your way cause you couldn't possibly ever be wrong
