Another update: Replaced the broken/rusty/hole-full exhaust with an exhaust from a 325i with twin piping all the way through. Sounds and runs way better than before. Seems to have more kick on acceleration on all gears. At the same time, replaced the driveshaft coupling/guibo as it was cracking already with new lock nuts as well. Edit: added image of the new muffler, not sure if i have a photo of the old one.....

Is this going to go through? I'd be keen as well.. One on TM doesn't look as nice (at least on the photos provided...)

Small update: Got my mechanic mate to change Cambelt and all other belts + water pump + a couple of oil seals that were leaking in that area.

Do you know if the PFL and FL exhaust had the same sized piping? You reckon i can get them to just use the current flange on my old exhaust to hook up to my current manifold?

Bump. Anyone know if the 325 manifold fits the 320 engine?

Should i just grab a 325 manifold then? or do the ports not match my 320?

Should I buy some ebay headers instead of looking at 325i manifolds? or would it be a waste of money?

Just got some pricing on the 4 bolt manifolds but can anyone say if it fits my PFL 320i? or does the 325i have different sized manifolds?

I just realised the exhaust i have is a 4 bolt one.... does the 4 bolt manifold fit on the 320i PFL engine? Has anyone tried this?

Has anyone tried if it fits? Does it go in straight with no issues? Basically from the exhaust manifold to the back. Im looking at buying a manifold now as i made the mistake of thinking i can fit the 325 exhaust to my manifold. Do you have a link for the sticky? I'm having some small issues as well for cold idle and that sticky might point me in the right direction. @cdfeto: does yours idle low when cold? Mine almost never starts on first go and stutters on cold starts basically have a low idle and i'd have to hold the accelerator a little to get it to maintain roughly around 1k RPM for a about 30 seconds before it can hold the idle.

It might be a typo for 15k? seems too cheap to be real...I'd buy it if that was really the price haha Edit: then again, 15k seems too steep for it.

Got some bottlecaps with some fairly used tyres. Not sure of the treads but i think about 3mm on all tires. Not sure what theyre worth. Let me know if you want photos.

Thanks for replying Nath. Here's a photo of her after my cleaning session the past weekend. Hopefully would do a re-spray in the future but for now, it still looks decent. Also did a lock rebuild on the driver side, took me a while to finish it as it was quite hard to actually get it back onto the door itself but eventually got it going. Only photo i took of the job (i need to get better at documenting these things).... (ignore the paper at the back as i had no other ones that i could use..) Tried a bit of cleaning on the driver door while it was out as well, small dab of degreaser (diluted) and a bit of rubbing cleaned it out a bit. Not sure if you can see it in the photos though: BEFORE: AFTER: Hopefully getting an exhaust soon from one of the members here so i can replace my busted one....That will probably be the next update.

Just thought I should start a thread to document the stuff i'm changing on my 320i and what needs to be done to it (that i know of). Currently at 150km's roughly and have started with a few of the basics maintenance. Bought her from Dunedin and got it trucked up to Auckland. She's had 1 owner NZ New, but has been neglected the last few years as the owner was possibly too weak to maintain the car. Interior is in great condition bar the tiny rip in the driver seat and a few stains. The Steering wheel has a rip but basically covered it with a normal steering cover until i replace it with an Mtech wheel.
