A strut brace on it will be like throwing money out the door. Realisticly you wouldn't be able to get a DECENT one for anything less than $250-300. You could pick up a decent set of shocks for double that if you're lucky.

He may be able to challenge it. I got a ticket for doing 51 in a 40k school zone at 3pm yadee yadah. I asked a mate and he said that if you ring the ministry and ask for the pic and there is another car going in the opposite way in the opposite lane n the picture then they can't prove who was speeding. So I got off it

Was a wild guestimate But either way, the clutch was pretty mint. Will check that tommorow when I get the car off the ground and see where that takes me. Oh man I cbf taking the box off again!

Yeah bro that was there. Rob at Bavarian managed to get them bolts done up tighter too haha. I'll make one up and see if it does anything tommorow after work. But was thinking pressure plate too.

Must admit that the airbrushing on the RX one is pretty damn tidy. Not that it suits the car.

Was a different old one but it was in WAY better knick than the one that was in there. I don't have a cover on the bellhousing as the one from my 240 didnt fit the 260. Could that have anything to do with it? I guess I could make a steel plate and see if that fixes it. Is it worth bleeding the clutch? Also have noticed that there is a (very slow) leak coming from beind the clutch pedal after a decent drive/thrash. Don't think that would affect it, but there again I wouldn't know.

There was a red cressida at takanini pickapart last time we went. Not that it matters anymore seeing its matt black

After doing the 2.5 conversion, the clutch has started slipping, but only when giving it a bit of sh*t (ie. shifting quick between gears and accelerating hard). The clutch I put in is in way better than the old clutch ( had about 4-5mm more on both plates than the old one) and the old one never slipped at all. Could it be a forked pressure plate/flywheel? Haven't tried bleeding the clutch yet but from past experiences, I can't see that doing anything. Any ideas? Cheers Ashkan
