  1. Of course, you must have seen all the crowd control measures and H&S inspectors littering the site.
  2. Cheers Cain. Who owns what (although I now it's pretty hard to see them)? There's the Warsteiner M3 and the JPS 635 that I'm interested in. Both South Island cars I think. Of course the last one is Delmont's 2002.
  3. Wickedly unnerving!!
  4. Guys Had a play with Movie maker and managed to group a few really low quality clips a had from a few years back. Was when the E60 had just been launced so must have been about 2002. Enjoy here
  5. Dooh, thanks Cain, just found it, was here all the time!!
  6. Hi Guys Anyone know of good freeware or open source MPG edit software I can download? Any I need to stay away from?Running Windows XP home edition. Cheers, Jock
  7. Nah, if you're that rich, just buy two, one for the road and a swap for the workshop. That way you always have one that's working. Have your mate follow you around in the other one in case the first one breaks down.
  8. Nah, In Auckland you would've got a note but it would've read something like this. "I'm leaving you this note in case someone witnessed me dinging your car, so they think I'm leaving my name and address, but I'm not. See ya!!" Lucky you didn't hit a cow.

As I've always said, a car is only worth what someone is prepared to write a cheque out for it. My advice, if you really want to sell it is to tidy it up a little, find some original 15" basketweaves with centre caps and $1 reeserve it with pleanty of marketing. Front page etc etc. I took this punt and got $4900 for the ex Gus 4 door. My 2c worth anyway.
  10. Roll it back the way it went over, thereby only redamaging already stuffed panels. The right hand side would have been untouched in that initial roll.
  11. I love the way they successfully damaged every right hand panel on the car that had not been damaged in the initial rollover when they put it back on its wheels. Noobs
  12. What about the invisible rope clip, that's bloody funny!!
  13. Cool Brent, that's the 276HP motor, correct? If you're over on the shore some time give me a call, 0272 511 843, would love to see it. Love those E28's or even better, E12's.
  14. Both of us have since sold them <sigh>It was a sensational car in that it was pretty docile and easy to drive around town but turned into a beast at 4200rpm when the intake shortened up and you got a kick in the back and the intake noise took on a real snarl. The Turbines were a real toss up. Cool in that they actually directed air through the brakes to assist with cooling. Looked like you had 15" wheels with white sidewalls though when the rims got dusted up.
  15. Was scrolling through some old photos and came across these of my old M5 and a mates one parked together in my driveway. Pretty rare!

Just a bugger about the conclusion!. Spose it's a counter for premature wearing of the inside of the tyre due to excessive negative camber. Just wear out the outside to even it up! "Oh, please touch up the roof while you fit my near back tyres".Hey Andy, the 'is' is f**kin great fun in the wet! Ran out of adrenalin after awhile though.

Hahaha, kid in the back pulled his head in pretty quick, lucky otherwise he woulda lost it.
  18. Please help an old bugger out, what does "FTW" mean. Bit like HB i guess!
  19. You have a problem now though, would've been better if they'd written it off as you now have a stolen and recovered vehicle that is of lesser value than it was originally. They probably thrashed the living sh*t out it too during the pursuit. Bugger.

See that chick with nearly 23,000 posts. That's nearly 32 per day every day for the 2 years she's been a member. Obviously nothing to do in her life!
