E30 BMW Race Series Specification 318i Race Car. Built to a very high standard and specification with virtually every componant replaced for Brand new. The engine is a fully rebuilt M88 3.5 twim cam with around approx 330bhp full Autronic management system etc etc mated to M3 dog leg gearbox, M3 LSD, 6 pot Porsche/Brembo brakes Koni adjustable suspension. Most items are brand new as this car car like my previous race car are very high spec. Quality and frabrication is the usual high standard expected from Race FX and of course the as per the GTR replica that Race FX just completed. There is the option to run an E46 M3 engine in place of the M88 that Race FX have available for this car however the torque the M88 offers was quite appealing for NZ race circuits. I also considered that it is fairlyeasy to use the 3.8 crank and pistons and obtain 400+BHP It would be best to discuss final pricing with Andy at Race FX although he is aware that i am prepared to accept a loss of around $20k over what i paid . I think you will be pleasently surprised just how reasonable the price is for a high quality brand new E46 race car. The quailty once you see the car is every bit what you would expect from a BMW Factory race car, with about 4 weeks work to finish. Thanks Mark

3 compression ratings available and 3 piston diameters allowed in our series. Standard bore 80mm, 1 size over bore 80.25mm, and 2nd size over bore 80.5mm are the only allowable sizes. All 3 compression ratings at standard 80mm bore are still available ex BMW cost about $1800 plus gst 8:8 comp 9:4 comp 9:8 comp The ones i have available are 9:4 comp 80.5mm bore size 9:8 comp with 80.5mm bore may still be available however cost is $2,000+, plus gst

Have a spare 240 Gearbox for my race car. This gearbox is in as new condidtion having just completed a $1000 complete overhaul with brand new factory syncro's/bearings etc. Ernst from Bavarian is highly regarded when it comes to overhauling these gearboxs. I purchased this gearbox as a spare for my race car however if you rebuild them and maintain them correctly they last for ages even under race conditions. I only have one race meeting left before the car is sold so this spare gearbox is surplus to requirements. $700. No driveshaft but could probabaly source one from Ray or Ersnt. Mark 021 511116

Set of 4 Toyo RA1 Tyres for 7 x 15 BMW Wheels. Fully road legal tyre however these are highly regarded as the tyre to have in wet race conditions. Not legal for Race series rounds however are fully legal for off season race meets/testing etc. Ideal if a BMW race series car is competing during winter months or other classes throughout the year. Used for one wet race meeting only so still in perfect order. believe size is 205/50 x15. $275 for the set. Mark

Actually looking at the chart again, i would say pretty good figures. Mine does not reach Max power until it hits the limiter at 6200, having max power a little down the rev range at 5 to 5 and half would make it pretty user friendly on the track. Good Luck
