Sorry tad off-topic, but my e30 has an aftermarket keyless entry alarm but the fuel door can still be opened armed or not and can therefore be sucked dry. I'm not wishing to add keys onto my ring [such as a cap lockable thing] but would perfer a locking mechanism on the door that unlocks with alarm. Easy to do?

Anyone ^^ ? Also, the only way to legally remove the center "hella" brake light would be to replace with another eh'? A LED brake light in the spoiler sufficient?

Thats what I will be considering, cut up the current tray and if it goes nicely I'll just make a nice new tray without the speaker holes. Beautiful.

Could always get those $20 dual cup holders for 'V' size and normal size drinks from Repco -- but they will look out of place. I'm considering modding the door cards to allow for a drink bottle either side like the Ford Escapes or Holden Rodeos. - In the meantime I only get a drive-thru drink or buy a drink i can't hold [easy with an auto] when I have a personal drink-holder in the passenger seat.

Cool. In the meantime though, don't jump it as it can take awhile -- but if you still need to use the car get a battery charger and charge it up. Don't use your audio etc and just try to keep the voltages up. This is a good temp. measure untily ou get a replacement. But as you said, you've got a honduh so shouldn't be an issue. Hit us up if its not the alt.

Well, an alternator charges the battery whilst the engine is running. And from what you've said, the battery isn't being charged back up... so I'd guess thats the issue...

What history does the 2nd battery have? I'd agree with what was said above; Battery isn't holding its charge. This can be due to the battery, or the alternator not charging the battery as the car is running. As for the overheat bulb, if the temp. gauge and everything else is fine, just remove the bulb as fixing the wiring/sensor is not worth it.

Like the effort you put into removing the plates but you missed a pic. I'd pop off the audio and wheels seperately and sell it fully stock. You will also fetch a higher price if you lived in the 3 major cities.

How dodge is your wiring? Can you hit us with your audio specs incl. cabling?
