Grom kit is your best option it plugs into you oe amp box in the left side of your boot. a cable runs up the side of the car and comes out in your glove box plug your ipod/iphone into it and you get full control on the oe head unit such as track name album name and the ability to skip tracks from your hu. if you want give me a call at work tomorrow and I can source a kit for you 0800449737 jared

I'm a full time audio installer at hyper drive in penrose and I drive a 4 dr e30 as my daily. Don't do 6x9s in an e30 they dont fit very well at all. I've got Rockford punch 5.25" coax in the tray of mine and they go so well you would not believe they are only 5.25" they go seriously hard and no spacers in sight. just my two cents if you want bass get a sub not 6x9s

There is a small amount of curb rash on them but nothing deep. 2 tires have about 30%tread left and would just pass a wof the other 2 are in need of replacement. I will upload a pic of all 4 this weekend im after $500 for them

All parts are still fitted to the donor (e34) car so a complete conversion is avail. the box is a getrag 260. the car was parked just over a year ago and was running/driving really well so should be no probs with the parts. I'm after $700 for the box and all parts required to convert a auto e34 535. Alternatively I would be happy to swap the bits for a e30 325 manual conversion as I have a auto 325 I want to convert.

How many kms are on the box?

Did you know that the oe e36 m3 rack is a (quickrack) ideal for e30 race cars. I'm sure you know this but maybe ppl reading your 4 sale add don't.

My mother in law is selling her much loved e30 they are moving to auz so sadly the 325 has to go. If you like your e30's this is really worth a look, it is one of the best condition ones iv seen in many years. It sat in storage for roughly 3 years a few years back and before that was not really used much either thus the low k's. The paint is original and is in very good nick. the black leather recaros are also in very good condition and it run's perfectly with no issues at all. Its only done 150k they move to auz soon so they only want $5250. If I didnt already have 3 bmw's and not enough places to park them I would snap this car up in a heart beat you just dont find original ones like this anymore. Visit My Website

I'm one of those ppl in a shop that can do this for you but to be honest stereos are pretty easy. My advise to you would be to go on the 12volt.com website and look up your year/model of car and there will be a full color code key for you. If your e46 is a 318 I would be quite surprised if it has the factory amp setup as not many 318's do. you will def need at least a lead light and Brents advise about powering up the thin white is very true your radio reception will be total crap if its not connected to your remote output from the sony(blue wire) good luck.
