    KwS's E36 Coupe

The rear fog light thing is a European requirement isn't ? My NZ new E36 Compact has one only - right hand side,
  2. Hi Garry, if you enjoy your Z3 half as much as I enjoy my E36 & E30 before, you will be over the moon ! My E36 came with a service history as documented in the Service Booklet. The car came from & was serviced in Taranaki at Northcroft Subaru & European. Totally unimpressed with the catch up service I had to do to get the car back to scratch. I am sure some of the guys will come up with references, Craig McFarland in Waitara may help, he is a friend of mine who has always been straight up (and a Councillor I think) If you wish to contact me direct by email. please do, I can refere you to a couple out of town who are involved with Race & Rally servicing. Or maybe contact Simon who was a local Bimmersport member in Taranaki, http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....=4&MID=2351 regards Paul E36 [url="http://clubsport-bmw.webs.com/"]

  4. ? ? ? ? ? Really ! Not what I have experienced over the last 5 months, in fact they left me feeling I should have paid them a bit more for everything they sorted out, so I made a donation to CanTeen to ease my conscience. Paul - E36
  5. Hang in there Glenn, its really only one day at a time, or hour at a time as the case maybe. January 2000 I woke up at 1.50am breathing at about 5%. One lung had folded as I found out later, Dr. gave me a job of something that made me feel like David Bowie looked in the 70's and I slept like a baby - in the morning I ended up in hospital for 19 days on a breathing machine thingo. It took a year carrying around a portable Oxy unit plugged into the cigar lighter just to be on the safe side. It really is worth the effort to accept the fact that the worst day not smoking is still better than the best day when we did. .... and be cautious with the Patches - some people OD on those big time, rip them off if you start seeing in 3D ! the very best, Paul - E36
  6. Really excellent informative day and learning reminder of some the things that had become a little foggy, my thanks also to Mike & Kerry at Mosen Euro Parts who set my car up, brilliant, probably 20% better than I imagined, Paul - E36
  7. Cotton overalls minimum and MotorsportNZ approved Helmet - Bike shops have a good selection, base price $83 upwards See you there, Paul - E 3Six
  8. I have a set of NZ new 1999 E36 Seats. F & R, and full side trim and door panels from a Compact, with facility for airbags, non smoker, almost mint. They are available now, I probably can deliver by arrangement, 021 295 2814 Paul - E36
  9. I had a similar suspicion with my '89 E30 - got the Garage to check ALL vacuum hoses, found they were perished, so we replaced the lot. Problem fixed, did a re - bleed to make sure and they are 100%. Not worth mucking around with when you need them on the Ngatea straits on a right angle corner and out walks a sheep ! Lots of woopsies ! Paul - E36
  10. Kerry contact Pete Brown (the Pipeman) at Papakura Mufflers , he does some big stuff out there including the key dragsters and some E30 series, and top 4x4 competition trucks. My E36 sounds ok for a 4 cyl. bu tperformance and economy are tops ............. and to what ever your budget will take ! good luck Paul
  11. .... Ask Shuey .... its Baileys - bottle it and sell it but don't let him near it ! Paul - E30
