Woah 5,000km M3 Evo II
-
Did this car used to be owned by Streetsoundz?
-
What Jedi is saying is that for the average driver, a M3 would be much more fun than a GT2. I agree with this. I've driven a GT2, it was more scary than enjoyable as it had far too much power for someone (like me) with an average driving ability - remember this model has no ESP or traction control and is rear wheel drive.

Is that the one from Otago that was rebuilt when it was near new??
-
Nice in alpine white. Get the wood trim swapped for alu or carbon style and the whole car will be transformed
-
A GT2 was my dream car too... Until I drove one. You need to have the precision of a helicopter pilot to keep it in a straight line!
As for the 997 Turbo in the original post. Far too dear, as such it's been listed for ages.

Does anyone know what the 730 ld's sold for?
-
I would buy a diesel auto 3 or 5 if you couldn't live with the 1M everyday.
Make sure it's black or grey with black leather
(so many UK imports on TM are hideous colours). If you buy a 3 or 5 don't buy manual - there is no market for them in NZ.
-
Spotted a few ads from these guys in the latest Octane UK magazine.
The presentation of these vehicles, and descriptions etc are stunning! Most of the cars look brand new!
Check out the selection of sold cars too - some nice E30 M3's
-
Importing from the UK seems to be all the range at the moment...
Has anyone done this? Can anyone shed some light on what the VAT qualifying criteria is?
-
I'm sorry, but I think it is hideous! No one will actually think its a E90...
-
Surely as an ex-mechanic you wouldn't trust the Dog and Lemon guide?!
-
Nice, I like the alloys. I would start with clear corner lights and trying to get rid of the wood inside
-
What someone wants for a car and what it will sell for are two very different things. I will take my hat off to this seller if he can get the ridiculous price for what is nothing more than a run of the mill e30 with a dealer add on kit...
-
It's too good to be for real, surely it's a set up for a bit of a laugh

Audi own the market with fast wagons. AMG try to compete but their numbers are small compared to sedan sales
-
Seems like a lot of money for that old sled. A nice car in their day, but not exactly an M3 in terms of performance and classic status
-
Nice. I would leave it stock but add a nice set of period E36 328i or Mspec alloys
-
Cheers, there seems to be a few leads there to follow.
Am I asking too much? Is an '85 320i with 235,000kms worth $2k?
And is a practically brand new set of TSWs worth $400 (Really old, but never been used up til last month. TSW Stealth).
I think you are probably being a bit optimistic. Maybe go to turners and get them to put in writing what they think the car would sell for at auction.
I took my wagon to a few place on wednesay, Jeff Gray said it was worth $1500 despite the schnitzer goodness and a 60k engine. Absolute joke. I plan to go to McGuiness, he always has classics, and though he specialised in british cars, he knows most of the euros and thier rarity. Ill be taking the car to him in a few weeks one ive tidied a few more things. I perve his show room when i go to my storage place at the back of his ha
Well, what do you think your car is worth? A dealer would trade something like that for $1,500 and that is what they would base their valuation on. Im sorry but an E34 Touring isn't a classic...
