Welcome, clean e28 you have yourself there. Congrats. Maybe sounds like the SI Board batteries in your instr. cluster are dying, and playing games with the gauges. May be cheaper than replacing the whole cluster. Not sure how to replace these or even if that is the problem. Someone will definitely know more.

Don't like them either, don't suit the car IMO. Your decision at the end of the day though.

Yeah same, got one a couple of months ago. They must not be educated about illegal and non-LTSA or 'personalised plates'. Surely they will catch on to it soon? Fine with me though
