Yea mate, been posted before. A while ago though.

Just do it yourself. What you will need: - Amber bulbs - a small cardboard box - steel wool or scuff pad equivalent - High Heat - Aluminium colored spray paint Step 1: Remove all amber bulbs you wish to become "Stealth bulbs". (In my case, I wanted front corners and tails) Step 2: Scuff bulbs with a steel wool or equivalent to roughen surface allowing the paint to stick. Step 3: Punch holes in the box correlating with the number of bulbs you want to paint and fit bulbs into holes. Step 4: Lightly spray a dusting on each side of the amber bulbs. Note: Be very careful not to apply the coat too thick as the amber will not show through when lit. Keep the bulbs about 3 feet away from the spray can to ensure a light coat or dusting. Step 5: Allow an hour of drying time or until bulbs are dry to the touch. Step 6: Replace all lights to their original position on the car. Now all "egg yolk" is gone:

It actually stops the pumping at 49.70 its like they put the limit on there. I do go in and get the balance, not gonna let them get away with it. It adds up.

Sorry, i worded it wrong. On the pre-paid pumps up here in Auckland you go in and pay and then they release the pump. You pay 50 but the pump only counts up to say $49.70. Really annoying.

I get pissed off when you put in the dollar amount then fill up, and when it finishes it never fully puts in $50 worth, it only puts in $49.70 as an example. Imagine how much extra they must get if they take another 20-30c off everyone. and its happened quite a few times!

My olds 540 has 12 speakers and the sound is impressive as you say, very impressive for stock

Cheers Grant. Yuen it is a UK import, was surprised that it didn't have the passenger or side airbags. I read that they came standard, but probably only to a few markets. Not worried that it doesn't have them, have first hand experience of the safety of the E36 and I can tell you theres no car I feel safer in.

Thats interesting Martyn. When I was looking at an E36 328i which had the Jatco jerk, I sent it in to Jerry Clayton to get their opinion. And they said don't touch it. They said that the only way to fully fix the jerk is a gearbox rebuild (at about 3k). Drove another which had had the gearbox rebuilt and it ran flawlessly, with a receipt for just over 3k.
