540i!
-
Both those cars look fantastic but the 530 above probably makes more sense. 2001 which is a facelift model, the 19 inch wheels, the price difference. Just a few things. But the others a 540i, which has that beautiful M62 V8... ahh decisions.

Clarkson makes fun of people who wash their cars

The 540 has the Duraseal Teflon coating, applied three years ago and still looks as good as the day I first saw it. Only wash it with water and a sponge and it comes up perfect. Highly recommended from me. -
6500K was my choice

Scoop that engine out! -
Looking at the Umnitza website, specifically at the Predator Chromium Range. Now, what do you guys think. Left to Right: 3000K - 8000K - 4500K - 6500K Aparantly the 6500K ones are pure white, the 8000K slightly blueish. Which would you get? Just interested, I know which ones I prefer. If anyone has experience with these products it would be appreciated if you could share. Pic's would be great!

Recommend Umnitza. Very nice products.

Out of interest what style did you choose? The NZ style or the German?

First thing I noticed!!
-
Yep, exactly that. Just give them your plate number, order the style you want and it turns up in two to three weeks. Works out about $80 from memory. Thats without plate holders, so you don't have to drill through the plate. There have been some debates about how legal they are, I think it came to; if they're not made by LTSA they're not legal. But soo many people have them, including soo many on here, and its unlikely you'd get caught.

Recommended Panelbeaters in Auckland?, Who do you use?

Sorry to hear mate, must have been the worst timing ever. Definitely Precision Autowerk Come highly recommended, have done a A+ job on the 540 before. Even replaced all original stickers under the bonnet after it was repainted. One of the cleanest workshops I've seen, and the most impressive. They fix Ferrari's, Maserati's, Mercedes, Bimmers, Aston Martins everyday. Expensive though but if insurance is paying... -
Yea, but if people have no idea what it worth then they tend not to bother offering. If you put a price then people can make a choice. If its too high you can lower it.
