What if its not a personalized plate, just a normal one? Guessing you'd have to fill out the same form?

Cheers Andrew Yea, could i guess but most driving will be done in rush hour traffic so probably not wise. Thanks for the idea

Thanks bravo and hybrid. Is a shame as its a very straight car. The dealers taking it into a specialist tomorrow to get it checked, so i guess have to wait to see what will need to be done.

Hey, Looking into buying a '95 E36 328i but I have 1 main issue: When the gearbox changes from 1st to 2nd from standing theres not a major jerk but its bad enough that you'd want it fixed. To be fair the car wasn't warmed up, but it still did it after taking it for a test drive. Changing up through the gears its perfect from 2-3 on. The salesman said that it is a worn actuator inside the gearbox and it is a common problem for E36's. True? And he also said that it was fine after it was warmed up. My questions are, is this a major problem? Whats involved in getting this fixed? and Is it even worth touching? I appreciate anybody who can spread some light on this, as it is a very straight car apart from this. Cheers, Nick

2231 down, and 131 up. On xtra's Go plan 3GB. Interesting they say 128kb max upload speed, but got more than that. I find that Telecoms service isn't wonderful, but since they're raised the bar from 1GB to 3GB its improved noticeably.

Cheers mate, Bought a cooler master one(X Craft 350), with eSata as well and normal USB. Nice strong case and is definitely quality, I would recommend it. Got a Seagate 400GB on its way with a 5 year warranty, so all up it should be a great package. Thanks to everyone on their input, opinions taken into account.

Cheers Andrew, i'll be most likely going for a 400GB or the 750GB seagate barracuda as Ollie suggested and I was looking into the Coolermaster enclosures. The one i'm looking at is The x Master 350. Thanks for that website, it has it a bit cheaper and also a good range.

Thanks Ollie for that info. I'll try to do that now, whats needed apart from obviously the hard drive and encloure? The cables, which you could probably get a dick smith. Anything else? And thanks ken, i've got my eye on a 7200 rpm one.

Collecting the new car The only way is up! Soon to be owners of a brand new Volkswagen take an escalator from the main entrance, or Piazza, up into the Abholerwelt (check-in area for Volkswagen customers). At 23 service stations, customer-service agents answer questions, explain vehicle delivery and recommend what to see in the Autostadt, based on customer-interests. The next steps in the procedure are automatic: a lift in one of the CarTowers selects the correct vehicle and conveys it to the centre of the tower from where it is gently lowered to the ground floor. Thereafter the new car rolls through a tunnel into the Car Distribution Centre. This elliptic building has a transparent, floating roof, under which two restaurants, a simulator and a shop are grouped around a lively square. This is where, a large display panel indicates the collecting customer‘s name, the hand-over begins. Not long after the keys to the new vehicle are handed to the new owner…
