I reckon that price is ridiculously expensive, nearly E90 money at 17k. I've seen good e90 330i (non Motorsport) for less than 20k . With those issues I wouldn't budge from your 15k offer, in fact I wouldn't even pay that. Regarding the issues, it's just common wear and tear, I wouldn't let that put me off a car but it would need to be fixed at the previous owners expense. Saw this at precision autowerk on Monday. Looks good. Like the m spec painted grills a lot!

It's worth $45k all day even of it was a bit rough around the edges. If it was seriously compromised (engine or driveline issue or rust) then you could walk away from it or get the dealer to rectify it. Good buy though, you can't go wrong there!

I'm still jealous! Having seen this car in person, and driven it for a weekend, not even roo's awesome photos do it justice!

Was this the $1 reserve one on trademe? I was bidding but didn't get a chance to check it over first so I bowed out at 45.... What's it like?

Pictures of the trim to [email protected]. Did you replace the other trim piece? IE the gear surround and door pulls?

Does anyone know if anyone wrecks X5s? After a set of running boards... A probably more things later on down the track... Cheers Dan
