  1. I agree with the others - stock car, stock brakes. RE the race pads - they just last longer and don't seem to fade is all I've noticed.
  2. nnnahhhh - we are talking unlimited money here. Bring on the F1 e30.
  3. As reported earlier this week, Mercedes is planning on dropping the baby-benz A-Class from its product range. A Mercedes-Benz spokesman said that was speculation but with previous reports saying that Mercedes-Benz is now working on a radical revamping of the A-Class to compete with the BMW 1-Series and Audi A3 by 2011, we believe this to be true. However, according to AutoBild Mercedes is in talks with BMW over a partnership to build subcompact cars. By the end of July, the two companies are expected to make a decision on whether to build the next generation Mercedes A-Class on BMW’s Mini platform, AutoBild said. Since AutoBild did not site any sources, we doubt this to be true. According to previous reports Mercedes is expected to build a sporty small roadster in 2011 based on the Mercedes-Benz Vision SLA Concept which uses the underpinnings of the A-Class. Time will tell how close BMW and Mercedes actually get. The two currently share hybrid components and technology in order to develop premium hybrids for their lineup within the next three years.
  4. So as good as say a 1967 beetle.. that doesn't run. With lots of rust then?

    Quaife Diffs

Glenn: I really liked how the turbo handled with the quaife - Found it quite a lot more predictable - especially on throttle lift off. Haven't played with it in the turbo yet - but with 100 more hp I didn't want to be running a welded 4:45 !
  6. That is seriously rapid! Your grin hardly fits on the screen Jock - I can see why haha awesome.

Right now, we just want you to view the new BMW 1-Series mini website and check out these brand spankin’ new images. surely the Evo's motor is better than an S14?

    Turbo 318iS

I suspect it would of been very hard to sell in it's original 12k form also except that I wanted boost badly. The car owes me about 20k - 12k to buy and 8k in fixing things (that's DIY also!) I got 5000kms out of it - that's quite a lot for me. I've now done over a couple of thousand dollars worth of mods to the daily and gone a bit mental on the racecar engine so I still have a car as fast as the turbo hah.
  14. I'd turn it into an E30 Series car and race then buy an E92 M3. Easy
  15. Seconded - no other spring on the market is worth the money.

  19. Professional racing driver, Ralf Kelleners, is adding his personal insight and expertise to bring you and your car closer to racing. The new Kelleners kit for the 2006 BMW 3 Series gives the car better aerodynamics, looks and of course, more performance. Kelleners Sport’s BMW 3 Series includes a front spoiler, side mirrors, side sills as well as a roof and rear spoiler. The car gets an all-round better aerodynamics and a better co-efficiency of drag. The Kelleners K3.2S engine kit for the 330i produces over 300 hp with a top speed of 278 km/h (172 mph). Wheel sizes include 8.5 x 19 (front, tires 235/35) and 9.5 x 19 (rear, tires 265/30). Turbo the b20 motor? Not worth it - secondly it is hardly a matter of doing what you just said.

    Turbo 318iS

It had no value - no modified cars do. I sold it cheap to a friend - I wouldn't of done the same for anyone else.
