The last time the 7-Series received a redesign was in 2002, and we all know how that went. So now, when the next-generation 2009 BMW 7-Series rolls around, design is expected to be toned down quite a bit. Sources say that the next-generation BMW 7-Series will have an even more elegant look than ever before. According to these latest renderings the 2009 BMW 7-Series is expected to take design hints from the BMW CS Concept unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show. If you remember at the time of its launch, the BMW CS Concept was said to be BMW’s “new definition of design culture.†As you can see from these images, the 2009 BMW 7-Series will receive a large grille as the CS Concept. The rear taillights will also take design hints from those of the CS Concept. BMW will also be introducing a new iDrive and, according to rumors, an eight-speed transmission. The car will make its official debut in 2008 as a 2009 model year. Photo Rendering: 2009 BMW 7-Series Gallery:

Here are the latest spy shots of the BMW X6. Caught outside BMW’s Munich headquarters, these are the most revealing shots we’ve seen of the upcoming crossover-coupe. As you can see from the pictures, the BMW X6 has an aggressive sloping back applying the Mercedes CLS design to the SUV segment. The BMW X6 is set to debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September. When the production version hits dealers in mid-2008, expect engine sizes to be similar to the BMW X5 with a 3.0 liter petrol and diesel, as well as a 4.8 liter V8 355 horsepower range topper. Magna International, Canada’s largest automobile parts manufacturer that is responible for the Magna Steyr cars, is in talks with BMW on developing a new MINI SUV. According to Canadian newspaper Globe and Mail, the SUV would be called the Mini Colorado with 65,000 units assembled annually at Magna’s plant in Graz, Austria. Magna spokeswoman, Tracy Fuerst, told Reuters that “reports of potential future BMW and Volkswagen assembly programs are speculative and, as a matter of policy, we will not comment on themâ€. BMW previously said that it plans to pull production of the BMW X3 out of the Magna Steyr plant and transfer it over to its plant in South Carolina. “So their assembly facility in Graz, Austria, would be significantly under-utilized and obviously these new programs would help a lot in filling that production hole,†David Tyerman, an analyst at Scotia Capital, told Reuters.

German tuner Hamann has just released their latest tuning package for the new BMW 2-Series Convertible. To increase power, Hamann has recalibrated the standard ECU, giving the 320i and an additional 10 horses for a total of 240. The 335i convertible gets an additional of 37 horses to 337. For the diesel powered 330d power has been increased to an output of 272 horsepower. Hamann has also added a sports air filter to help provide better power delivery throughout the rev range. Hamann adds an aggressive appeal to the body with new bumpers, side skirts and four-pipe mufflers plus carbon-Kevlar mirror caps to add that performance touch. Who would’ve thought we’d see the day when BMW produces a front-wheel-drive car; well that day may come in 2010. According to a report by Automobilwoche, BMW is planning a small front-wheel-drive car that will be a direct rival to the Audi A1. The car is expected to measure 3.75 meters, sharing the basis of the MINI Cooper. CO2 emissionsis are to remain well under 100 g/km. The car will arrive at the end of 2010 after the next-generation Audi A1 makes its debut in 2009. It’s scary what these CO2 emissions standards are causing auto makers to do.

followed by king.. yes.

Ah. The setup is more suited for flat tracks yes - however the rebound is very good and I'd happily use them on a hillclimb event. Not perhaps for targa though. There is no bump steer.

You can't link from the ireland engineering store - you need to post the product in here so we can see it.

WANTED!!! TURBO KIT OR SIDESKIRT OR LOWERING SPRINGS
Andrew replied to ace.meister's topic in Want to buy
Welcome - Buy Maximum Boost by Corky Bell and learn it. As a general rule if you need how to ask how to turbo a car then you are not capable of doing it. Perhaps after you have read maximum boost you can ask more specific questions. -
Once you have copied a disc it won't remultizone or CSS anyway - css et al. can only be pressed into DVDs with professional hardware.

Those 100 words I typed were pure gold. Not only will they win me the drive - but perhaps a Pulitzer prize
