Don't get me wrong, I'm not having a go - I just don't understand why bagged cars are cool. Like I say maybe I'm just too old (37) :-) I understand and have lowered cars (when I can afford it) on good springs/shocks to improve the stock handling, but I don't think that's what bags are for right? If it's just a looks thing then it's not my cup of tea

Yeah only on the drivers door. Unfortunately it didn't come with a key so I don't know if it functions as an alarm or an immobiliser or doesn't function at all... Just wondered if anyone knew for sure as google was coming up short.

Hey quick (probably stupid) question... Other than the obvious, it's a lock of some sort, what is this and why would anyone add it? It's on my 87 e30 M325i. Cheers for any helpful replies in advance

Has anyone had any work done by Bays Car Painters in Browns Bay? Noticed some flyers while waiting in Bellars. I need a cut done and a little paint on my e30 and they are just down the road from me. Any word appreciated.

Hello, I bought this yesterday: Car seems to be in reasonable condition - needs a bit of a tidy but fingers crossed that's all at the moment. I've posted here a couple of times with questions etc while shopping. First owner question... My insurance company have asked for a valuation - standard value of a pre 1990 car in their book is $1000... I'm on the Shore - who do I go see? Cheers in advance.

I'm not sure I'd be in any hurry to buy a Jap import. Probably just paranoia on my part but I wouldn't want a car that glows in the dark...

Says in listing "unsure if it is a genuine M sport as it is not regiestered as one, however has the badges and all the features" - suppose it doesn't really matter just curious on if there's any easy way to tell?

Leather interior?

Saw it a couple of weeks ago... Some rust on the bonnet and just starting on the rear quarters under the windows. I've gone and looked at five M325's now and it seems that AC was a not a popular option - this car was the only one that had had AC at some time. It's not a biggy just odd to my mind :-) Car seems mechanically sound. There's also a hole in the dash under the light knob - did it used to have an adjustable dimmer?

I went and had a look. Quite nice but needs some work. Passenger door is badly faded from some panel repair at some point and there's some rust here and there... Drives well :-) Why do people disconnect the air con? It's so useful for clearing the windscreen on winter days.

The thing that gets me is someone spent a lot of money to do that...
