  1. The yellows seem a bit street/track hybrid for your slick equipped monster :D

Those EBC Reds get pretty good reviews, was thinking about getting some of those. Would love to know what race series guys think :D Might have a flick through the race series forum..

  2. Haha it's no secret!

330 USD. Exchange rate is pretty good at the moment so they'd be a great deal. They are amazing plates really.

The rear is a different story. For a simple solution you may want to look at these:

About a 1/3rd of the way down: Rear Trailing Arm Bushings, Acentric

They will bring the camber back a bit, but you'll need to check them every now and again, they come out of adjustment. All I can recommend is Loctite and massive torque and good rubber grease and they should be sweet.

  3. You are supposed to have a Cert for Camber plates yes. Ground control plates are for the ultra win, I may be biased (Well and they have caster adjustment and more camber adjustment than the Vorshlags)

The only way you'll get your rear camber sorted is with some offset trailing arm bushings or some serious trailing arm pivot point moving. But unless you are going to lower it excessively then you should be ok with 2-2.5 degrees back there for now. You'll need it for the track :D

  4. I knew it looked wrong, never bothered throwing it in google and seeing if it was right though :D

Ahh yes, terrible isn't it Ollie, I found a bit of kitty litter at the high speed chicane on the back straight (Monza) and that cost enough tenths to make the lady who was running it round it off to a 1:42.. Next time I think I'll go with a lighter fuel load and no breakfast

  5. Well sorry to the wellingtonians, but an out-of-towner is making the official photo thread! I see your meet thread, but this is different.

So went up to the North Isle for a long long weekend and bam, pictures of F1 cars.

Spent close to 2 hours reading everything and staring at design features. Took 100 pictures for future reference when I do ENME474: Aerodynamics in the 3rd Pro year of MechEng :D

No flashes were allowed, but I tried extra hard to get good shots at 1/10th or so of a second (A long time when hand holding)

Oh and you get a free go on the Simulator (only there on the weekends, Level 2)

I came 2nd out of everyone who has been on it since the exibit started, with only one go (was busy at the time), wish I could have had another turn :(

E: Had to adjust thread title it was driving my spelling nerve crazy ;)

  6. Being a know it all cock in real life is a terrible life path/choice, I hate people like that, but on the internet it is a way to escape the drudgery of the boring parts of the day.

My feelings weren't hurt, it was the sarcasm font :D It's quite a heart racing thrill to come back to a thread and see what people have said back to whatever sh*t I say (95% of stuff I say is true and correct, just said very boldly and cock-headedly)

To sum up, I'm approaching 13000 or so posts on internet forums worldwide, so forums are sort of a place to make a persona, and follow through with commitment, bimmersport is quite a mature forum really, so I might shape up online attitude a bit. Most would say I'm a good c**t in person :)

AS YOU WERE, AND GEEEEEETTTT OUT OF MY INTERNET THREAD OF NOT-TWINE!!

Oh and I'll be making a wee vid from the track day last week. But there is no oversteering (was actually having THE BEST TIME working on getting corners perfect and fast) and the camera doesn't show nearly how damn awesome my car is, so it'll be just another boring track vid, but in HD!
