  1. I can recommend the 450D. After doing a whole lot of research online and then using a friends one, I decided on the 450. It is great to use and has the Digic3 processor, which is the same as the higher level cameras.

Canon and Nikon are really the only ones to go for... Kit lenses leave a little to be desired. But you can take shots like this and like the the month of December in the bimmersport calender, neither which have had the colours messed with by photoshop.

ISO400 30" f4.0 Pitch black when I took this. Halfway between Gisborne and Opotiki, in a DOC camping ground.

  2. Keep the MLS gasket the same thickness as stock, those engines are built tough and the response will be worth it. Go about 12psi day in day out on stock internals from the hours I've read about turboing on e30tech. Of course you are limited by a decent tune.

I love it, nice work I say!

My turbo project is very, very close..

  3. Little OT here,

Where does people in Christchurch gather on Friday/Saturday night anyway?

Heading up to CHCH friday 13th might go and check out how bad it gets, might take some photo's of some turd doing stupid sh*t.. lol..

Made this for ya, I've been to the 'diesels' (on the roads in the 2nd pic) and 'the 4 aves' (1st pic, must travel in the direction of the arrows!!>!!11!.1!.1.1>!>1.1!!1) on my motorbike, entertaining yes, very dangerous too, but thats why the people love it.

The square in the 2nd pic is where the cop car got destroyed.

    Ban nissians, all problems solved.

  4. Was going to say the same thing about getting a turbo jappa ha, but sounded cock like.

Can vouch for those dirrezzas, had them on my old 3-series and they stick like glue (almost ^_^ ), for the price bloody good.

Except when it rains and the grip becomes budget tyre like.. I paid an extra 50 per tyre for my Pilot Precedas (Hook ups, Advantage Tires in chch here, tell Aaron I sent you if anyone wants Michelins for cheaper ;) ) and the grip wet and dry is nearly equal. Not to mention the grip under braking and stability of these things.. Wow.

    Anyway, topic back on, go!

  5. If it's the people I think did it, it's a small kinda 'FTP' group, nissians. The other 250 cars there would have just been tag-a-longs. It's actually unbelieveable that they have gotten this far, shame and way, way, over the top. It's not about the cars, they don't race, just skid and annoy people. Castration for population control, weeding out the bad trash blood is what the world needs. Too many hopeless people doing all the breeding.

  6. He's right, the intake manifold is not at all the restricting part. And the 325i head is one of the best non-race spec flowing 2valve heads out there. Getting rid of the air flow meter (aka, link ecu, great support here in Nz, and the new G4 is something else) equal lenght tuned exhaust manifold, skim the block half a mil and stroke it to 2.8 and you'll have 210 horse minimum.

  7. 154000k old LSD that I bought in 07 and never put it in a car (my e30 at the time got rearended, written off)

Since I have an LSD in my motorsport I'm offering this perfect ratio for sale. I inspected the inside when I bought and and it might as well be new, all teeth are perfect, dont know about the clutches because I never installed it into a car. But if it works as great as the one I'm driving with twice the K's.... wow. I'll sell it for what I bought it for. 900.

And Sport seats, Pics attatched, couple of holes. But hey, they hold you well and look the part. 500 ono.

Diff looks like a diff, no picture at this stage.

    PM me ;)
