I went to auto align and parts master to see if they had the mounts who get them from the mount shop and they cant get any for at least 3 months, I also went to jeff grey bmw and got quoted $112 for the right side mount and they are going to call me with a price for the left side e28 m5 mounts. Wold there be anyone else I could get the mounts from or just suck it up and spend up to $224 for new bmw mounts???

I don't know the dimentions of the mounts does anyone know where I can find them? also did your Izuzu bighorn mounts make the engine sit funny or make it sit better etc? thanks

Ok so I'm having quite a bit of trouble finding a couple of thing like e28 m5 or 525 (I believe) motor mounts anyone have any laying round they wanna sell? Also a e34 m50 sump with oil pick, dipstick and tube? I really need these to get the motor in so I can get my turbo lined up etc in the engine bay. Some help me find these bits PLEASE. what would postage to palmy be? and what does it stroke it out to? my current project involves a m50b25 vanos

sounds like fun, I'm doing the good old m50 into an e30, with a turbo later on just need the sump.

I'm after one as well so if you find a couple I'd be keen to buy one

after some e28 m5 motor mounts, need for my m50 conversion, any help would be great

sweet I'm looking at getting a turbo manifold and top and bottom gaskets from them and some other stuff. All up I might be spending about $1300usd on there stuff, so I dont want to be ripped off, Dont really want to skip on important stuff haha.

Haha will have to have a beer as well, atm I have a small 1.8 M10B18 which is only just moving under its own power when it wants to, I doesn't start atm so Its getting ripped out and sold or junked (which ever comes first), I have a fair list of what I need: -E34 sump, dipstick, and dipstick tube, (I know the oil pick ups are the same but I'll get one just in case) $250-$300? -E34 throttle cable $130-$150 -E28 M3 engine mounts $50-$100 each -MK2 Golf brake booster $50-??? -Gear box (probs go g260 with brand new HD clutch) $350+ -M20 fly wheel (shaved down 1/8th of a thousand) $150+ -M20 starter motor $90-$120 -M40 radiator (which is the same as a M42?) ??? -Custom Headers ???? Is there anything I'm missing apart from the harness side of thing which I need a diagram for, Are my prices about right as well roughly? I also need to get a power steering pump and MAF sensor for my engine.

will this clutch work with the g260 box http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-443223189.htm, I can get just the box for $350 or would i be better off spending $600 and getting a g220 box for my m50b25? need help so with this so I can get my engine in.

I'm after some help with my conversion, I just brought the motor and have it sitting in the shed yelling at me, but I know I need other stuff before I can start doing the conversion, I NEED to know what other parts I need to put the m50 into the e30 and where I can the parts from, any help would be amazing.

Hey my names Jesse I just brought my first BMW been a 1984 E30 320i, and I love the car, altho it been so old me and my mate think the diff hasn't had a oil change or ANYTHING in its time because it has blown a spider gear so its getting locked until I can afford a 4.1? diff from my mate. Jesse
