The dry weight of my e30 was 1080kg before the conversion (no spare). You've nearly removed an e30 from your wagon haha

Ya have seen a lot of cars sitting lower than mine, as it sits at the moment is exactly where I want it I'm happier with the height with the new rear setup. The car is mainly going to be used for track days and a few hill climbs. Handles great on the track as it sits currently so will keep the setup I have for a while

Best Brake Booster For M52B28 E30 Conversion?
slybma replied to darrencnz's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Ya I'm using the original e30 booster, I moved it down and left 15mm and removed the intake manifold fins, in hindsight I'd have gone with the e32 setup -
Best Brake Booster For M52B28 E30 Conversion?
slybma replied to darrencnz's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
When I did my conversion I tried the e21 booster because of clearance and it worked well but I did notice the brake feel wasn't as good, it just wasn't boosting as much, so I swapped the original back in and just moved it over and the brakes feel much better. That's just my opinion though as the car has been build for a lot of track use so I wanted good brakes -
sh*t you got her to drive, Chloe wont come near my car haha

So after a while with the engine running, i noticed that it was getting very hot in the engine bay and the air filter was getting all that hot air so decided to make up an air box Also fitted the side skirts after painting them and the front lip still not sure if theyll stay. The rest of the car will be painted the same colour over winter

As mentioned above work out your budget then at least that will eliminate a few options, it'll depend on how much work you want to do as well

As above steering rack from a 97' Z3 1.9L 2.7 turns lock to lock in great condition good upgrade to E30 or E36 easy to do swap and transforms the steering feel of the car. Bought for my E30 but have decided to go another way with the car so no longer needed. Just want what i paid for it so $460 owns it 021 332145 if anyone is interested. Can ship nation wide if needed.

I have found one thanks though

Ya ive read the documentation online, it'd all depend on how bad of a day your wof inspector was having i wouldn't be failing it if it was all BMW manufactured bits used. Our local LVV cert guy says differently, but i think he just wants more work. The m50 and m40 angle is the same its the m20 that leans at a different angle.

Ya that's the one, don't like the bus steering it currently has haha. Last one I saw sold for $550 before I could get to it
