  1. I just went and had a look it has two sensors a blue and a black one, i wired it in when i did the conversion harness it reads just not correctly so id say itll be due to it being the wrong sensor. im not sure if its the blue or black one i need to swap out though so might be trial and error just need to get one of those brown m20 sensors


  2. The temp gauge on my E30 has been stuck on cold since doing my M50 engine swap and i realised that i forgot to swap the sensor from my old engine over to the new one so im looking for a sensor or if anyone knows the part number?

    The engine is running quite rich and im not sure if its due to it thinking its cold or something else, do the M50 ECUs read engine temp from the same sensor as it uses to set the gauge or do they run two sensors?

    Would appreciate any help.


  3. What brand are the lowering springs? And sorry to be a pain but is there any way you could measure from the center of the wheel to the edge of the rear wheel arch, or if you have removed them already the height of the rear springs? just trying to work out if ill get a bit more drop


  4. My adjustable suspension for the E30 arrived today and I tested the rears and the car still wont sit low. Even without the collars in with the springs the car still sits too high, there has been a fair bit of weight removed from the back but surely there's a way to get the tire to tuck in the guard. Has anyone had any success with a certain spring?


  5. Have been driving the car around a fair bit lately and started noticing a few issues the standard clutch has starting to slip with any kind of load so basically anything over 2000rpm so a HD option was ordered.

    The front e36 suspension spring hats are a fair bit bigger than the e30 ones so on our lovely NZ roads, the spring hits the inner guard over big bumps so I ordered some adjustables to counter it and help lower it some more which arrived today. I tested the rears and the car still wont sit low.   6. I have decided to sell the E36 seats I converted into my E30 as in the near future they will be removed to make room for a roll cage. I also have the adapter plates needed to put these into another E30 they can go with the seats if wanted. I would also consider a swap for some Race seats can do cash either way (anything considered) or some E30 front seats plus some cash to keep it drive able in the short term.
