  1. Hi All,

was going to use this for another manifold for the 335, but it is a bit of a stretch and may be easier to go custom again. It is brand new and comes with gaskets, exhaust flange is for the M50 engine. Welds are good and the porting has been done well.

I am taking offers on this stainless manifold, as you see in the attached pic. T3 flange.

    PM me if interested.

  2. dam, where were you a month ago?

My 3mm MLS head gasket just arrived. I was going to plonk my 1.8i head on my 2L block but gave up due to piston/combustion chamber differences. Guess these still would have been to low c/r with the 1.8i head though?

Mind if i get in touch about a proper M10 low comp build sometime?

Always the chance to do it with a 2L, I dont know what experience you have had with decompression gaskets but in my 333 turbo build it spelled constant oil leaks. Low comp pistons are the only way to do it if you plan to race.

  3. LINK: Valves

Offered for sale is (one) set of 4 Intake valves for the BMW 2002 4 Cylinder. Very good condition when removed.

These are a very rare set of Alpina "tulip" intake valves.

These valves are for the "121" cylinder head.

    Cleaned and inspected.

Valves measure 44 mm in diameter.

  4. Link : GBOX/Engine

For sale here is a complete engine and gearbox from my 2002.

The gearbox is a rare getrag 5 speed with speedo cable hole for installing in 2002's, may be usable in others with M10 engines.

The engine is from an E30, having done approx. 76000 k's. It includes the complete 2002 wiring loom from engine to fuse box to dash for converting your 2002 to efi, or drop in the whole lot as I did if your existing engine is tired!

Shortened driveshaft available, but it is recommended that you have your own shortened due to cars not always being the exact same length after 30 years :)

  5. Bumping this one back because nobody fronted up with the cash :)

I am selling the fronts only now, unless someone really wants the rears!

Let me know if keen and we can talk price.

SOLD Pending payment - thanks all!

  6. I will be producing my own ECU's some time in the future. Its a project that keeps getting pushed aside, but the 335 turbo is in the last stages of being pieced back together so it will need one.

My point is that it is not a black art at all :)

Having tried almost every ECU under the sun I do have to say Autronic have one of the best systems, Motec's are also good, Haltech's I wouldnt trust and Microtech's are good also. Link is a good 'cheap' option.

Look out for a RevSpec ECU in that list one day

  7. Guys,

I was generously donated a steering rack, but the cheapest I can find a coupling makes me want to go back to power steering. Problem with that is I refuse to use the old pump as there is not a nice way to make it fit with the 3.5 in there, so I have to run an even more expensive and heavy external electric pump.

If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated!

  8. I'm pretty much a noob to all this sort of stuff but will these springs still make my car handle better on standard shocks? shocks are on my "to buy list" but will be purchased later on when i'm not on $8.80 p/h and when i work more hours than 15hours a week

Picture of car in its old form (before it got a real engine heehee)

I lay my claim to be the first in NZ to put a big bunny sticker on their car.... and the first to remove it :) Ha!

Might just be different, see where it goes?

I just went and had a chat to the guy, I bags it to replace my written off one please :)

BTW he has left it in open bog for 5 months so all the bodywork must be stripped back and done again.... as you can see in the photos. All it takes is a bit of primer people come on!

    I need to replace this:post-168-1165259431_thumb.jpg
