  1. Facelift E30s have uneven wheel arches. That gives the illusion that its lower at the back. Park on level ground and have a look down low, youll probably notice the chassis is dead even! If you car is a 6 cylinder you could try getting the 4 cylinder version of your spring to bring it down a bit more in the front. Be aware that it may take a massive nose dive though! Hope this helps..

  2. Hey guys, Im hoping someone out there has some good condition MtechII sideskirts and door pods for a 4 door E30. Preferably genuine but im still interested in fibreglass replicas if they are good. Keen to get my hands on them before December so let me know if you have them!

    Thanks very much, Jason.

  3. I have a towbar from an E30 for sale. Dont know if anyone actually wants it to be honest.. But its here if you do!

Came off a facelift (dont know if it makes a difference)

    Comes with all the bolts/nuts/washers

    Its a genuine BMW one.

I'm wanting about 120 bucks for it. PM or text (0210777792) or leave a post

    Cheers, Jason.

  4. I used to have T1R's on my old 320... and my flatmate, (Matty104) has them on his E30 325i. We both think they are good tyres! I loved them on my car, and matt likes them sooo far.( hasnt had a chance to test them out properly) He used to have the Proxe 4's and really liked them in the wet.

  5. Any idea of what Will is really after for his car or what it is worth?

Also who/where and what cost would an MTech 2 Kit be worth?

A brand new genuine kit is like 6 grand, but a fibreglass replica sold for 500 bucks a few days ago!

Will doesn't have a habit of being unrealistic.

I suggest his price is fair.

His cars are well looked after too...

He will be asking maybe a thousand more than starting price, thts what he did with my car! But whatever it is it is still a good deal, that car is mint. .

You are in auckland so you may as well take the trip to Kerikeri and see wills car, even if you dont like it you will have a fun drive!! It would be good to see that car go to a BS member and be looked after properly

  6. As for Sir E30, cheers for the heads up, i personally was thinking around the $7500ish mark, mainly due to front bumper and wheels and a few little things, but i'm no rush myself, Heck i have never even sat in a E30 BMW. Lol

Yeah i know (you all thinking what the hell is this man doin on this forum).

also do you own a the white E30 325 wagon? is it auto or manual?

    Cheers

    Thats alright mate.

Included in the broken bumper is a broken spotlight.

Due to the fact that you are new to E30s this probably isnt the one for you :)

Yup thats my wagon, its a genuine manual 325i

  7. I met the guy who owns this a few weekends ago and I had a look at the car. It is nice dont get me wrong, but its rough. Its definitely showing its age! The kit is in bad order and there was rust in the bottom of the A pillar, which he bogged up. The paintwork is faded in places. Interior was good. Under the hood was very green and mossy, like the rest of the little cracks and crevases all over the car. It looks like its been sitting under a tree for the last 6 months. In my opinion its not worth what hes asking... But would definitely be a good track car/fixer upper!

In regards to the skyline being found in NZ, it wasnt.. He imported it for a grand total of around 30k!

Hope this helps, and doesnt sound to negative!

  8. This car was for sale about 4 months ago at the same time I got my touring! I wonder why it still hasnt sold......

I was txting him and he said there is only 10 E30 tourings in the country... come on! Somebody needs to rescue it.. and the owner.

  9. Good to see your at least making an effort to be legal. Sorry for blowing up..

Your lucky, I didnt have a car when I was at school, but I see you have 2 e30's! My suggestion is sell one and use that money on the other one! :D

    Cheers

  10. Hey mate. I am not a nazi wanker but what I'm about to say may make me appear that way.

If your dealing with a part of your car that holds you to the road and keeps you safe, ie wheels suspension steering brakes tyres etc you need do do things properly. DO IT ONCE AND DO IT RIGHT. Do you value the lives of your passengers? (I know this is extreme)

I congratulate you for at least not cutting your springs...

SO go to your local suspension shop, get your shocks shortened or buy some new ones. Get them installed professionaly if you cant do it yourself. Get a wheel alignment. ENJOY DRIVING YOUR CAR SAFELY!!! If money is a problem learn how to save like the rest of us, dont go cutting corners on something that may end up cutting your life short. People like you are the ones that create trouble with the police and stop the rest of us trying to enjoy our cars without being unfairly targeted!

    Rant over...

  11. I found my Touring a wee bit noisier than my Sedan. Could be the case with yours too Graham?

Mine wasnt to bad when it was on soft springs/standard shocks and 15inch basketweaves with plenty of tyre. But now that its had new shocks and springs which are stiffer (courtesy of Keith at H&R) and 18s with almost no tyre its a bit rougher and noisier. Its only bad on rough roads, on smooth hot-mix it rides like a dream. Also a slight vibration but only above 130kph, I put this down to the hub adaptors not being absolutely perfect. Once again, I extend an offer your way to have a drive of mine to compare, if I'm in auckland one day. I think I still have your cell number, I will text you ^_^

    Cheers,

    Jason
