  2. ooo i so want thats 1 well kept car dude. now if i only could pull that kinda cash out my ass id buy it in a snap lol. hope u dont have 2 part it a BS member gotta buy it. sorry but from my experience they are the only ppl that look after there bmw(bar some crazy old south african guy that came into my work awhile back with a mint speced e30 325is with full m3 suspension it was bad ass).
  3. hey dude speaking from expeirence of walking down this path before. dont do wat i did an have second thoughts and sell up. i found someone that could get me a basic setup made here in tauranga. they were after a min of 7k to do it. which included, specific sized turbo for my motor, piping, stand alone ecu(microtech) exhaust, bov, wastegate running al for 7k. i sold up cos i was impaiticent(sorry for my bad spelling) an wanted the turbo kick now! now ive got myself a nissan 200sx RPs13 running a rb20det(running but not road legal) and im still no closer to having my daily driven turbo car yet. if u realy crazy bout your bimmas like i am dont sell. i will buy myself bmw soon(when my budget allows lol) most likely a prefacelift(realy liking the chrome bumpers an NO ABS! sorry im a drifter an abs aint your friend when u r 1 of those). an bout the turbo setup i would give u the guys number if i knew wat his new 1 is as he has moved. it was Green Brothers(in meleme street int tauranga but i think they have moved 2 the mount somewhere) they are more knowen for tinkering with rotarys but they said they could do it so i guess it is a start. and if ya are a tauranga local do not go 2 speedfactor when it comes 2 bimmas they dont know them! period! they were saying a rb25det wouldnt fit in my old e30(another option i explored) where as the rb30'd e30 by magwhere house proves its doable an there was a guy on the fourms with a 320 with a rb20det in his it look a tight squease the way he did his but it worked. so after al my ranting an raving. my advice is DONT SELL! save up. im sure u will love the result once its complete

    NOOOOOOOO! some 1 bet me 2 the punch o well gud on him 4 being the different 1 looks nice, i want specs! was hoping 2 be the first crazy mofo 2 drift a e30 in nz but was going 2 toy with a m20b25 or a m30b35 as my motor. o well i guess ill have 2 contiue on with my rb20 power nissan 200sx for now, an get my e30 fixation cured later.

  8. i agree dude an wanting 2 do the same thing with my 325 but every1 around here is in the mind set that bimmers are 2 expecive and not cool. personaly i wana turbo mine with a nice 5 lug conversion should have me ready 4 practice but im a bit short of cash and dont know of anyone in the tauranga area that modifys bimmers eg turbo if any1 wants 2 help please drop us a line. cheers shaun

  13. ok guys the wrecker bevan understands me now an has given me some prices. but is unsure on which control arms 2 use as the 1s specified on the ubersaloon site are a bit hard 2 come by. being 'E36 í97 M3 Control Arm' so what other ones could i use? also what while im here i know its off topic but wat size socket is needed 2 remove spark plugs in a m20? just got my rocker cover powder coated black and i think i damaged a spark plug when i was putting the lead back on cos ive replaced the lead thinking it was that cos i could hear spark arc'n/ jumping so i replace it and its still doing it. so im off 2 buy a new plug 2morrow just wat size socket is required is al i need 2 know please.
  14. cheers for your input dude. but as far as gettting a answer out of the wreckers bout parts goes im still stuck. i was just hoping glen could give me a run down on wat he exactly did cos, me trying 2 explain wat i wana do 2 the wreckers is useless i just get a WTF look and acording 2 them a 318 rear end dont fit as the subframe mounts inset into the floor. i was unsure if i am ment 2 still using my 325 rear sub frame or not just little things like that i need sum advice and clarafication so i can get the conversion started cos i want those wheels now! im sick of seeing my baby on 14 inch wheels.

  16. ok here we go again. glen sorry dude but im still keen to start that hub conversion. could u please give me a full run down on what u did to ur car 2 make all the parts fit. as i have the bmw wrecker in tauranga saying that a e36 rear end wont fit into a e30 as the subframe mounting points are inset into the floor of the car an the e30 isnt. so if u could please clarify what u have done 2 make urs work please fil me in. cheers shaun ps im looking at the wheel size 2 run being 17x8 now same style of m3 replica rim just small as u said 19s are just bling an u were right. i want the car 2 look cool as it goes fast round a cornor tho so ive voted 17 cos i hoping they will fit. an considering urs is running 17 in the pics of it so i though what the hey y not do it 2. an wats a ruff budget i should b looking at to do all this?

  19. hey brent ive bought 1 off those shifters of trademe. but ive hit a snag on putting it in. i cant get the old orignal 1 out. how do or can u remove the main bushing that the shifter swivls on the big ass bush that it sits in? i can unhook the bottom part just that bush that eludes me on how 2 remove it. help please a walk through would b mint if u can do that cheeers shaun

  22. hey just 2 continue on my questioning about turbos. you guys have given me alot of advice so far the main thing i was after was if there was any 1 in new zealand in specific in tauranga. ive messaged 325 grant an only had 1 response from him an that was ages ago so i was wondering if there was any 1 else out there that would help me out on parts 2 do it. thanks shaun

  24. ok i wasnt going for the bling factor i was hoping they would improve the cars grip and handling with being bigger and wider wheels than the standard 14" basket 1's that are 195/65/14 just wanting some cool looking wheels that also improve the cars handling an sutch
