Basically... I broke down this weekend because my alternator gave it's final spin.. Now apparently the garage I left it with can't find me a replacement, and have offered me to recondition mine for the shy sum of 395 dollars... Naturally I've said no. So I'm desperate to find myself a second/reconditioned alternator for a E30 320i... Cash waiting, any help would be awesome!

Me and Darin met up today and went on a little mission around the port to get some photos... The next one we should gather in numbers and have a large full out photoshoot! Enjoy; I'm using a mixture of a standard MKII nikkor lens and a 50MM F1.8... with a hint of photoshop sorcery.

How buckled are two? As in if I pop them on the back will I hardly notice them or do they give off a bit of vibration at high speeds? Where in auckland are you located, would it be OK to come have a look at them?

Thanks for the reply guys, I will give Ray a ring and MagNTyres as well! I can't believe how hard a set of basic basket weaves are to find... (or BBS RZ's as we call them back home)

It depends on quality of the paint, Ideally I'd have refurbed them myself (I used to do it at uni to fund my car problem haha) but I don't mind, I'm guessing without tyres?

I really wouldn't mind some BBS RZ (optional extra on the E30 I think?) or as some people refer to them as "Basket weaves" With tyres would be ideal, if not that's cool... cash waiting!

Since I've been here I have seen a fair few sets of BBS RS's reps... 17's and look like decent quality, I have gone through trademe and local wheel sites but have failed to find any... any help appreciated! The ones I have found seem to be 5 stud and I am searching for 4x100 for my E30

Hey guys, I've been in Auckland for around 9 months now... after deciding that my already over extended holiday was going to last a bit longer... I decided to get myself something I'd play around with, so I picked up a nice 320i 3 door in white... I'm a rather large VW (Well just modified car fan... anything early 90s) and have collected over the years a nice array of VW's, BMW's and Hondas. As this is BMW forum I'll start with my last BWM, it was a 325 and decided to go bang one day... And a few of my VW's: Currently on the hunt for some interior, and wheels for my E30... so if anyone has anything decent let me know! Cheers guys, M
