  1. Some bastards kicked a few cars in up in CP (Churton Park) when i was up there a few weekends ago. I've popped the doors out so it doesn't look too bad now. It was lucky they didn't damage the AMG 18's otherwise..... I could claim the damage on insurance but theres no point as i really just need to part with her to pay for some other projects. Bit of a shame as I had an offer on the car when the damage happened. Just hoping that because i've dropped the price since it happened someone still wants this wicked 190e What car you drive? Come around and check it out sometime if you keen bro.. Laurence.
  2. Hahaha.. i normally can't see too good after drinking a whole bottle of Jim Beam. Nice work. lol. Laurence.

  4. M3 Cab - I got some nice pics of your M3 up at Taupo last month. sh*t it was looking pretty damn nice on the day, heres a pic of your car bro.. I had the yellow e36 M3 up at Taupo. Maybe next year i'll have the e30 m3 up there (heres hoping). Laurence.
  5. Hey Guys, New to the forums and i've seen some cool display names. Just curious as to how you guys came up with your display names?? A mate came up with mine for me. I used to own 2 BMW e21's.. Had a mint as orange e21 320, hence the name "Old Skool BMW".. It just sort of stuck.. i guess in a few years my e30 will be pretty old skool so no reason to change the name now. Laurence.
  6. Hey penrod, have you seen my car parked in Northland?? You live up that way?? Laurence.
  7. Hey Gus, I'd bring it up if your keen.. Im always in the mood for a road trip .. Maybe i'll make a weekend out of it and stay with sum mates up in Aucks. Im getting a pic up on trademe tonight to update the auction as theres a little damage to the RH side of the car from where the dent was, but i dropped the price to compensate.. was originally after $7K but looking for $5K now. Will be sad to see my baby go Not too sure how well i'll go trying to bring all the parts up in the car. The AMG kit it pretty bog & the box of parts fills the boot & the back seat + theres the spare wheels as well. PM me if you're serious and i'll give you a call bro.. Thanks, Laurence.
  8. hey guys, Im hoping to get some pics back soon as.. as soon as i get my hands on them i'll be posting them up.. Meanwhile heres a pic of my mates E30 M3 EVOIII I shot this a few months ago (before the shitty weather his NZ, lol) The more i open the pic up, the more i can't want to get mine on the road. Laurence.
  9. Hey Guys, I'm new to the forum, but i've been on a few other BMW sites. Thought it was about time to get on board and post on Bimmersport. Im in the process of re-building my e30 M3. Bought the car in from Japan last year in August and LTSA lawa meant i couldn't road register the car. So i shipped the car down to my an engine builder in Invercargille to change to RHD. Once i heard that the law change from LTSA had passed public submission i decided it was better to keep LHD and put the mony into other parts of the car until i know for sure if i can register my car LHD one day.. Started out stripping the engine + interior. Body was in good condition and engine had 160km's n the clock. Pulled the engien apart and decided on a full blown engine rebuild. Will be running on 17 x 9 Alpina's and going to have respray in Diamondswartz. Im looking to order: KK 290 cams 12.1 hi-comp pistons 2.3 bored out to 2.5L (95mm) new timing chain, chain tensioner Hi pressure oil pump kit. Carbon fibre airbox + motec iWill be adding: Samco hoses all round. ported head (hopefully to 48mm tb's) At this stage i'll be looking for around 260-270hp at the fly wheel, maybe around 230hp at the wheels. Hoping to have the car up and running around August in time to pick up for my B-day in September.. will definately be looking forward to doing a road trip down to Invercargille to pick up the car when it ready. Let me know what you guys think, Laurence.
  10. yeh.. I wanted to bring it up to the Taupo driver training last month but didn't have a Rego on it. Cost me over $2000 to put a warrent and now i gota sell.. Kinda annoying.. Laurence.
  11. hey Guys, Im currently selling my Mercerdes 190e as i need to finance an engine build for my e30 M3. Hate to sell the car as it's pretty wicked and rides damn nice.. but the M3 takes priority and 1 car has to go. I'm needing to sell the car within the next 2 weeks so have dropped the price heaps since when i put it on trademe 2 weeks ago. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...7197161.htm?p=3 Im also selling my P.Plate as i have another plate already for when i get my car on the road. Looking for around $1400 for the plate if anyone is interested. Laurence.
  12. hey, Facing the subs towards the driver will take away the rattle, but you'll probably find that your subs won't sound as good.. You really want to have them as close to the back of your car as possible, facing the boot. The sounds waves rebound off the boot & amplify towards the front, increasing the sound. Facing towards the front they are more likely to cancel eachother out & you will have 'quiet spots' in your car. I had the same problem in my e30 with the boot.. I just used sum insulation tape & sound matting.. Guess you could alswys shave the lock, lol. Laurence.
