  2. Damn she sounds grunty eh! Hah one of the commenters on there thought it was a motorbike!
  3. Yup sure am Rich, its a Link G3 not the plus version though. Frantics motor is the older M20 motor Rich, which did not come with Vanos.
  4. Yea I know what you mean dude and megasquirt should be perfect for your setup and my setup, but with Rich's.. unsure? Haha doesnt matter what motor you are running the tune is still vital m20 turbo setup will still be sikk

  6. HB Dan, perfect date for your birthday 4 days off
  7. Deeped! Whos the supplier for them? Im pretty sure tommorow is a normal day for shops opening that are typically open on a normal weekend. Theres always things like this that rob your bank account as far as projects go aye, sux dude!
  8. Ah ok never really looked into megasquirt, would rather just go all out and purchase an aftermarket replacement ECU. Of course that gets a bit pricey but so worth it in the long run. Luke
  9. Thats right Erick no matter what it takes I will fit these wheels in my guards haha. Mine will be 17x10 +15 in the rear I believe with the spacers im running and 17x9 +15 up front.. Yup no doubt I will be running adjustables all round, probably going to go with BC Golds which come with 8kg springs front and rear which should be ok? Thanks Erick, im definitely going to do my best im sure I can pull it off pics will be up no doubt when im done, Luke
  10. Have you looked at using MegaSquirt from the states? Im not very famliar with it but im sure its relatively cheaper than the next step up like Link or the likes.. Depends how much you are willing to spend.
  11. Much better Brook! I say bring the door handles back eh.. and wats with that arial haha!!!
  12. Well its official... Ordered the rims and spacers today, just gotta get the 5 stud conversion in now so will do that early next week. Nah dont have adjustable camber plates matt as im going to be purchasing some BC Reds coilovers very shortley with camber adjustment built in already Lol Riley you got some mad respect on R3v found your car on their those yanks creamin all over it... couldnt find the one with the 17x10s on the rear although I have been known to be dislexic and blind
  13. True i'll have a hunt Jase. Me neither lol gonna be interesting none the less lol!
  14. Most descent performance tuners should be able to tune your BMW.. My tuner said he will have no trouble but has to start from scratch with the LINK as there is no basemaps available for bimmers.. Luke
  15. True thats a good sign haha! Thanks for that man
  16. My gosh things are slow atm. Not much to update really... Head is back from the machine shop. Got it acid dipped, crack tested, hardness tested and pressure tested, valve stem seals replaced, valves race grinded to 35deg and seats 3 way grinded all to improve flow.. cost me $200 through a friend. Also replaced all the exhaust manifold studs. Manifold has been bead blasted painted and just needs the flange face plained now. MLS headgasket arived about 3 weeks ago and have since orderded my ARP Headstuds, still havnt arrived... im begining to worry Aside from that all my shocks and springs are gone as well as my wheels and spacers. Picked up my E36 5 Stud conversion from Ray 2 weekends ago, have the front offset bushes to sort castor issue. Hopefully have my new rims and spacers next week and suspension will all go back together then start saving for BC coilovers. Also addressed typical firewall rust issues while I had nothing better to do. Sorry for such a brief update but will have pics up soon when things start going back together with a more thorough documentation Luke
  17. Hah yea not bad, surely you could find a cheaper way Dave..
  18. Ahh yes as I thought, exactly what I had to do except different box and shaft obviously. I had mine done at a local engine rebuilder... however i did not have the shaft balanced but that would have only cost me another $80. Luke
  19. Dave as far as the driveshaft goes, is it just a matter of the length? I only paid $100 max to have mine cut and re-welded for the M50 conversion.
  20. Haha yea he told me he didnt give it away jst before, one hint they are not anything BMW or OE.. Haha yea i know man, im probably going to be running around 18psi on my setup so hopefully a half descent number in power.
  21. Thats right Blair does not lie.. I think I will James, oh and if blair has told you the rims im getting keep it on the d-low dude yea thats the only ones i could find except for a sneak preview of one on a forum which i would have had to register too see the rest.
  22. Not a problem dude, yea he needs a box to replace another I think and he contacted me first but will see what happens dude, will keep you in the know Cheers, Luke
