Haha i knew your sedan was just a 318 with badges -
I doubt the chain will snap man, very rare for that to happen.By the way, these tensioners are auto tensioning so they can't put too much pressure on the chain, in no way like a cambelt tensioner! So you shouldn't have a worry there.
-
Ha sinse when has that stopped you!
-
Your job Simon, is to find out what the hell is that little running man thingy! Second one down on the right.
-
Hey welcome, i also don't have the car 2 space either.
-
Don't wanna know, surprising about the tensioner though.
-
Oh i see. can't imagine it would be that necessary?
-
Makes it a hell of a lot easier being an external tensioner, usaully they're found inside the chain covers. Without taking the chain covers off you won't be able to tell the condition of the chain. Taking the covers off would be quite a task too. I assume you could just order the part through BMW. Just had a look at mine, you could take the rockercover off and check the chain looseness? Unsure whether there would be enough room to check or not.

Can i ask what under drive pullys are? Never heard of them.

We send out reminders for services and WOFs to prevent that sort of thing from happening.

Not this year unfortunetly. The new cars look good.

Ray at HELLBM should be able to help you out with a fan coupling, never heard the term "rodding" when it comes to radiators, find out how much it'll cost, more than likely will be round the same price as new or recond one. Unsure on the water pump? When doing anything major on cooling systems you should be replacing the thermostat or at least testing it in an electric jug.

They would fit any E36.
-
Oh well fair enough too.
-
Ha why the sudden change?
-
Ha that's super badass! Pretty good handling by the looks too.

So if there were none in production why so many pics?
