Yep, you are 100% right. I just popped into the post office and it's not that bad at all, will cost around $150NZD in total on "ECONOMY". As you suggested, I would have to ship 2 parcels as they don't take more than 20kg parcels. They gave me a number to call if I wanted to get them all shipped in the one package so I will give them a ring, they may have a better deal. But yeh, that sounds a whole lot more affordable .

Will pop down to the post office and ask. People seem to be suggesting that Aussie customs is why it's so expensive to send.

Can someone explain this mystery to me... I get the whole "factory spec / originality" thing. I can understand why someone would feel iffy about that mint E34 black M5 replica that sold recently, but a professional RHD conversion on a genuine car!? Surely it's a better thing to have the car set up for NZ roads rather than having to put up with driving from the passenger seat. I have seen people mention this before but the above comment made it really hit home and now I am just curious what is so bad about this conversion. If anything, a LHD car would be the reason I would think twice about buying the car not the other way around

Car is looking good man, reminds me of my old M3. Don'y worry about "molesting it", it's gonna look sick with the mod list you have planned (provided you don't 20" chrome it ). But as mentioned, make sure everything is reversible as it will pay off come sale time. p.s. I am selling my BBS CH's, would be the perfect set of mags for this car. Yeh man, they were definitely not easy to find. I took about a year looking for these and snapped them up the second the were up especially considering they popped up in Christchurch. Still very reluctant to sell, but if it's going to a bimmersport member then at least they will be appreciated and put to good use

I just rang up Transport Logistics and they quoted me $60 to ship all four mags to Auckland... surely you can't get cheaper than that! Aussie is still a mystery though.

I got on the phone today and rang a few companies and it all seems awfully expensive!? Looking for shipping costs to Aussie / Auckland (from Christchurch) at this stage. UPS quoted me over $800 to ship to Aus! Does anyone have any recommendations for reasonably priced shipping companies? Cheers

Yeh, I got an offer I could not refuse to be honest. Would have never let her go otherwise p.s. I will make sure to get onto those shipping costs this week, most of the shops were closed all week end + queens birthday so could not get any info.

I know the use of this product is common practice in the US, it's usually offered by most dealerships. You can even buy pre-cut setups for most common models. I briefly looked into this but could not find anyone that would ship to NZ ( I am almost certain some will though). I am assuming the stunning job done on the CSL was custom made?
