Did not know we had time to brew beer (assuming you are referring to my ancestors)... pretty sure we would have been too busy working on our rock throwing skills in preparation for the 20th/21st century But seriously, discrediting every single one of the billions around the world who have chosen some form of religion as an explanation to their existence and ultimately their purpose in life is a bit much. Even Einstein himself stated that the complexity of the universe gives indication of "intelligent design". Personally, I'm a Muslim and to my knowledge (what little I do have), there is nothing in Islam that has been contradicted by science. In fact, there are many verses in the Qura'n which you could interpret as scientific. Those who know about Islamic history will know that not too long ago, Muslims were in fact world leaders in science, technology, education systems, economics etc... You just have to look at Spain's history when it was under Islamic rule. Now, I am in no way trying to push my beliefs nor am I trying to suggest that the Qura'n is a book of science. All I am saying is that not all religions are opposed to science, intelligent thinking and reasoning! Anyhow, I don't really want to open up a debate here just wanted to throw in a bit of perspective as this thread seems very one sided.

lol Mark, friggen wicked. IMO do one a week ay, that way it will always be crackup and you will have plenty of sh*t to make fun of as generally a week on here makes for plenty of lol material.

LOL! I loved it. Awaiting second episode!

Maan is it just me or what... imo Veyron / R8 got NOTHING on this car.... look at it ><!
-
Pretty much the same price tag as the Veyron when it was released, (2 million USD) aint it? This is Aston Martins Veryron equivalent. It's loopy money no doubt, but these exclusive cars with open budget development are always going to be like that.
-
Yeh, I think they have gotten too popular for their own good lol. Servers can't handle the loads.

Come on guys... it's not a car, it's art! I admit, the front is not my absolute favourite but everything else is just... The body is hand made... each panel took 5 people to make, it's got 700 odd hp... Watch the making of it in the three clips on their website Official Website
-
Simply amazing, then again what would you expect form a car worth over 3.7 million dollars! Only 77 cars being built, Aston Martin is throwing everything they know into this car as a statement to what they can achieve. Official Website

My lvl 11 brute SOMEHOW managed to deliver 4, yes 4 1hp shots... WTF is up with that!? He is such a dud.

Still keen to take it for a spin, yell out when you are in town next.

I broke a sweat several times during that survey... So cruel! CSL ended up as the winner, but why am I so damn depressed about it?
-
Not really, we are all still on topic... well mostly

I love my iPhone to bits and use almost every feature... but damn you are brave to be writing up kick ass posts on it lol! p.s. I think you ended up in the right place to be honest, you will always have that creativity and it means that within the IT field you can use it to your advantage as almost 99% of people in the industry lack it. IT is such a cool place to be in todays world imo!

I would suggest looking at what diplomas are provided at Natcoll or D&A and see which ones suit you best. Not sure what sort of university degrees are out there but all you would have to do is have a gander at their websites and suss out what they have to offer and if it sounds like you.
-
It depends on where you want to take it man. Personally, I did a degree in computer science which has nothing to do with graphic design as it's mainly programming, networking, software engineering, algorithms, maths etc... However, I needed to do this degree to get into software development. Was not easy, but very rewarding in the end... hell it helped me get into an M3 Another guy in our company, or our main web developer did a 3 year web design diploma at Natcol. Not quite as complicated as software but still requires a bit of programming. If you really don't want to get into programming, I am sure there is a pure graphic design diploma where you would get into print work and digital art and company branding / advertisement. There are soooo many areas of design you could get into, you just have to find what suits you best.

Nice work man, really love the magazine spread you did there

This was posted 3 times for a reason... it's very sound adivice ! I too am in the industry and as mentioned above, you just have to build on that portfolio. End of the day, it's your work that is going to do all the talking. Although my primary role is software usability (UX Designer), I have done plenty of graphic, print and web design. In fact, I still do due to the nature and relatively small size of our company. For me, it all started by working for family and friends (for free), then odd jobs at uni through sjs (student job search) where small businesses needed work done (for cheap) and slowly but surely progressed into big name clients until I finally finished my degree, had a great portfolio and landed my dream job. In other words, get out there and work for free if you have to... build a decent portfolio and soon enough finding a job will be dead easy. GL!

Yeh, mine are perhaps a bit wider but if they fit under your guards surely thats a good thing??

Welcome !!

Took it for a test drive. Previous owner was the Asian lady but she moved over seas. New owner is a university student. It's a bit rough and will definitely need some.. OK maybe a lot of TLC. Engine and trans seem to be good and he has maintenance history. He is sure it has LSD and had it checked. I dunno, it did not feel right to me though and was very loud (felt much like a race car rather than a luxury sports car) then again I have never driven an E30, perhaps that is normal? Not so sure if I would want to have a car like that as a daily, would be mad fun on the track though. I think I got a glimmer of what everyone is talking about. I guess biggest deterrent is the price.

cut it out.... this thread is f**king depressing me
-
I am sure driving your car will be NOTHING like your average E30 but sh*t... I will definitely take you up on the offer
-
That sounds ridiculous... Why not just get a factory yellow M3 to be in the movie!?
