  1. Up for grabs is my E46 330i front brake Callipers/Carriers. I originally purchased these off Brent for $380, and haven't touched them, so would like $380 for them. I originally purchased them as they are an awesome bolt on upgrade for the E36 non-M series, along with some big rotors, to get that awesome big brake look and performance. I was going to put them on my 318Ti M50 swap, but have gone down another route regarding the brakes. PM me for details, or send me a text on 0212084665 (text will probably be quicker) Pick up is in Lower Hutt (Wellington) but will be able to post them (they are a bit heavy though, think I paid ~$20 so not too bad!) Cheers all
  2. I am selling 2 great condition tail-lights off an e36 325i coupe. Both in great condition, will sell them for $60 (seems to be cheaper than some of the crazy prices on trademe). Won't sell separately. Contact me via here or 0212084665 Pickup in Lower Hutt, but can post at your expense no worries.
  3. Up for grabs is my auto trans from my 318ti. Just the standard auto box, it's in great condition and never gave me any problems. Only reason for removal was my m50 manual swap. Will part with it for $150, and can chuck in flywheel and torque converter too for a bit extra. Will be a great straight swap. Contact me on here or 0212084665 for info Pick up is in Lower Hutt (Wellington)

    M44 engine

I have for sale an M44 engine from my 318ti that I removed for m50 swap. I am selling it cheaply as it is surplus to my requirements and I need it gone will part with it for $300. Never gave me any problems. Is the bare block with exhaust and intake manifolds, but would be a great replacement engine. Contact me via here, or 0212084665 for info Pick up is Lower Hutt (Wellington)
  5. I'm in the Hutt as well. Would love to check it out sometime.
  6. Weirdly enough I'm beginning to think it might actually be my driveshaft centre support bearing. It's definitely not coming from engine and sounds like it is coming from backside of the trans, near the guibo. If the bearing is worn out, under acceleration/deceleration and changes in load due to gear changes, this could cause movement in the driveshaft? I'm gonna put it up and check it out.
  7. Hey all! I successfully completed an m50/manual conversion into my 318ti a few months ago. It ran really well for a while, but I began to get a chirping noise, almost like a bird/a high pitched squeal (not excessively loud) that would only happen for 1/2 a second as I engaged my clutch, or under coasting in gear. No noise at all in neutral, and it would only when the car was moving (wouldn't do it at standstill if I began to let my clutch out). It always concerned me a little bit, and I put it down to a 'on it's way out' throw-out bearing. Recently it has gotten a tiny bit worse (not drastically), and now I can occasionally hear a bit of a squeal when accelerating in gear. It also only seems to happen between 10-60kph, any lower or higher and there is no discernible noise. I imagine I'm just getting closer to failure of the bearing. I am planning to change to a racing clutch/solidflywheel in the near future anyway, so was just going to kind of 'run it till it breaks'. Just wanting some opinions as to what it could be, if you've experienced something similar. Cheers
  8. Surplus to requirements after m50 + manual swap into my 318ti. Good condition clean gearbox - suitable for replacement of a worn/broken gearbox. Open to any sort of offer. Pickup Lower Hutt (Wellington)
  9. Sorry Kimmy, used the ecu with the engine transplant into my Ti
  10. Would 4.44 318ti be too low?
  11. Bump - still a lot left. Rear lights, bonnet, rear bumper, bootlid, gas struts for bonnet and boot. All cheap so make an offer or PM me.
  12. Looks so good. What an incredible present. She must be so stoked!!
  13. Went for a drive over to Masterton today, the rimutaka's and back was a good drive, bit windy though! Car drove very nicely very happy with it!
  14. Haha, goddamnit. Not what I mean. The only competition that should have won is what not to do to a 318i. Such gross. Wow. No fast. Look bad.
  15. Awhhhh but I want to attract all lady and all man out there!
  16. Drove her around for a good while today. Had exhaust welded yesterday so it's not obnoxiously loud, just a niceeeee purr. I think I'm in love. Hahaha. So nice with the increase of power, and the sound having moved from a horrible tinny sounding stock m44 to the beautiful hum of the Inline 6. Good to have a manual back too. Yummy! Rocking the 4.44 diff for now, with a 3.45 sitting at home. Might run it for a wee while. It will probably break soon anyway Cheers all
  17. Go with the $13!! - I drilled a whole in mine and used a cable tie until mine arrived from pelican parts and it worked haha
  18. I have up for grabs an m44 engine and gearbox out of my 318ti - it was in good working order with 170,000km's when removed for an m50 to take it's place!. When I took it out a few minor things need replacing, the starter had a bolt-hole snapped off at the top (never caused me any problems), and one of the two arms that runs from the engine mount to intake mani was snapped off. I also noticed some oil in spark plug chamber number 3, so new gaskets will be in order always had good oil, the gearbox was also great and never gave me any problems. There was also 1 of the small circle clip things that attaches to the starter solenoid, will just need a new clip. But all in all a great engine that served me well Willing to sell motor and box separately, and would prefer pickup (Wellington (Lower Hutt)). Not really sure of price but want it gone soon so will consider anything within reason
  19. First drive longer than 'up and down the road' today, and it ran so sweet. Drove to muffler shop to get exhaust welded. Just a cheap OEM muffler and pipe for now; but will be full custom when turbo comes about in the future
  20. @pldubs - dark navy leather standard seats. In okay condition with some wear and tear and a wee bit of scratching, nothing unrepairable
  21. Lots of stuff going for cheap. What I don't have is engine, gearbox, front bumper, headlights and indicators. If you want something let me know. I head away in 2 weeks for Christmas and need things sold ASAP, so stuff is going cheap
  22. Got a video sorted this was second start.
  23. It's aliveeeee! So exciting.. Having problems Trying to upload video on my phone so will do it tomorrow. If you have Instagram check latest video - ntaylor90 What a difference am extra (almost) litre makes. And vanos. It sounds sexy. Have a little bit of tapping from the lifters, nothing major, and goes away after the engine warms up well. Had a sh*t tonne of assembly lube on everything so will just be that breaking down So excited to start driving it! Just need to sort out the rest of the exhaust.. Have 3/4's of it to behind the cat - just need to get someone to cut and weld the muffler on (or just run 2 straight pipes hehe...) Yay.
