Do it yourself: tape off surround. Wet sand (always gently) with 1200 grit. Clean. Wet sand with 2000 grit. Clean. Compound with buffer. Wipe clean with liquid wax. Polish with buffer. Wipe clean with liquid wax. Wax. You can also re-clearcoat after the 2000grit, then use 2000grit to sand back the orange peel effect and get on to compound/polish/wax. Will come out like new.

I have a facelift E66 and you'd be surprised at how nimble the handling is, though mine is the M-Sport package so the suspension is upgraded. Absolutely no body roll and holds like glue.

Its a non-sport model, but still an exellent price: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-174085020.htm

I have some custom made carbon fibre eyelids on their way, I'm waiting to see how the grills tie in with them... This is what they look like:

Someone was practically giving them away on Trademe. They had curb rash and the clear coat was peeling so I forked out 1,300 to get the curbage taken out, the lips polished, new paint and clear coat

I'm cooking a feed so I decided to upload the pics now... They're still not the greatest quality as I used my N95 to take them. The wheels were also waxed

Tommorrow I exceeded my bandwidth DL'ing movies so I'm on 56k speed at the moment

The life of a small dog that is... Some silly lady had her dog off its leash, I was reversing onto the jetty and she called it when it was on the other side of my car I had a go as PS'ing a few pics, tell me what you think (photos taken after wash/prep/polish/wax). I call this "Ghost in the Machine":

I sit somewhere in the middle when it comes to chrome, but things like the following examples are just wrong: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-167009081.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-168907731.htm

By saying he shouldn't label people judged on his opinions is being just as critical as his perception of those who lower their cars on massive mirror balls... I'm 21 and happy to say I've never been into the whole 'check my grill in my wheel' thing...

For that very reason (to prevent hydrolock) I have a short ram intake with a carbon fiber heat shield
-
they lead to the twin surperchargers... ... ... They're brake cooling ducts. The ones on the outside lead to my intake 8.5
