My mates e30 has hunting idle and a very squishy brake pedal at all times, would this also contribute? Can you explain how this leak makes the pedal softer as opposed to harder please?

A part of me thinks this thread is going to be closed soon, and poor old chompa won't get the help/advice he is after. My mate owns a 318i e21, he picked it up for $500 about 2-3months ago now. Goes to show there are some out there. As hybrid said, if you're chucking a diff motor in it, just make sure everything else is pretty mint. my 2c
