  1. I wouldnt recommend taking out the intake trumpet,if you test it on the dyno im sure you will see negative gains from it

That will look tough! Whats your D1spec engine going to be then?
  4. Great website aye. Oh an e36 + lexus v8 would be alot of fun to. I must say mines a blast to drive lol. There is a few e36s with v8 conversions but the thing is here in NZ is there is much more knowledge on e30s and a bigger following on them as well. I hope you go ahead with the conversion because it will be a special car and alot of fun
  5. Welcome mate, if your looking at doing a engine conversion be prepared to spend some $$$$ but its worth it trust me
  6. It can be done lol, jump onto www.lextreme.com for alot of info that will help heaps
  7. diablo23 Mentioned on the Felgen garage post that "yeah but havin a low bodykit and having the car standard height just looks cheap and nasty" I think thats totally wrong, they are the best looking cars around in my opinion

    M20 2l

As above ^ got a mate whos wanting a m20 2litre engine as his has poked its self. Also ive been told the m20 carb engine has the same setup as the injected engine without the intake manifold can anyone confirm this? Cheers Riley
  18. Hmmmm Ill take all you comments into consideration guys thankyou so much. Im going to look into the IE camber/toe kit as well
  19. No i havint checked the corner weights,i should though it would be interesting. There is a fair bit of camber on the rear, ive got a set of urethane adj subframe bushs that ill fit soon, that should help. Running 16x7.5 Schnitzers with 225/45/16s Toyo T1RS All round Do you think the sway bars will be a waste of time
  20. No the rear end came out side ways on me on medium throttle at 130kph, I snap corrected it. I feel Its more a camber issue and less grip on the rear, and it was in the damp, e30s a notoriously edgy in damp conditions. I dont need stiffer rear springs, mine is setup quite well, esp for traction in the dry. I just need the car to stop loading one side to much through the corner, with stiffer swaybars it should help flatten things out and help keep more tire and power down on the road.
  21. Oh and my car has urethane bushes throughout so this it just the next step
