i had to pay 5grand at nzwelding school last year to get my 4703 witch is the new nz standard for tig im currently sitting a CAT in welding and fabrication at unitec the 4711 is for arc and mig witch i have now got, both just standard no vertical or down hand tickets...found them to hard...it helps to have a cupple of years experence under your belt to bother with them.i could imagine how time consuming that would of been wot did you charge buy the hour for that? haha

looks like lack of root penetration or fusion in the the welds to. leave a good 1.2 mm gap when tig welding anything like this...i have welded t6 aloy boxes together that in test has withstood 3000psi

haha wos to drunk to find the camera that nightwill need wheel adaptors to fit the 19s thoe found a set on trademe only $450 for a set not that important at the mo. colour is a custom ppg dark blue. unshore of the proper name of it as it wos suplyed for the project as part of sponsorship. more photos to come when theres worth putting somthing up.

got my new genuine m-spec bumper mocked up and new 19s the other night wheels are 5x114.3 stud pattern so will prob just spinn up some adaptors for it. couldnt help but see wot they were gona look like, soo whilst being horsed as from a day of drinking (uni holidays) i mocked them up and just lowed the car down on the jack to get the right affect. gota photo on the camera phone, not a wicked clear photo but youd get the idea of it.

is that a r154 box? thoes things are super strong. everyone uses bloody w55 ive minced a few of them b4 when i had my 1uz powered maz luce.

haha itd prob run rings around me.. im depends how radical of a cage you wont. any thing beyond the b pillar requires a lvv card and the works to drive it on the street. i have some plans for a half cage like mine if you were willing to go that way? ill have to show you next time i see you.

hey guys thanks for the comments car is now stripped bare...getting ready for paint. roll cage is all bent up just gota get the time away from my studys to weld it in. paint all mixed up looks flippn sick carnt wait till i get to flick it on.. body is mint. no rust in sills, sunroof usual places, bar the front doors, easy fix but would perfer to buy new doors. BIG THANKS TO DAVE FOR THE M-SPEC KIT!!! AND THE AWSOME ADVICE ON THE SUSPENSION SIDE...

is there a paticular brand of shock out there with just an adjustable dampner for a e28? cheers guys... dan
