people are so stupid when it comes to $1 auctions, they should just wait to the last hour and start bidding. as if it was a legit $1 reserve they could end up picking a car up for stupidly cheap.

^ very true, how do you think they could overcome this though?, my mate had his car certed at 40mm off the ground with shocks/springs combo. lol

that would suck, but i highly doubt it. that means some hot rods would have to change their set-up, custom road cars, bagged cars,etc. if they do that then more people will just chop the sh*t out of their cars. personally i feel having coilovers gives me way more control over my cars than standard. the only thing that will make it unsafe is when people drop them all the way down which makes everyday driving a risk considering crappy NZ roads.

iv had d2's in my 180sx, and there sh*t for track use, but for daily driving they will be sweet. they are able to be rebuilt in nz. i think they may have koni inserts. i chucked mine in the bin after they snapped in half lol.

good read. the gtr is really wide compared to the others. not a very sleekline design. i would take a white r8 out of the 3.

that sounds like a lot chicks in auckland..... socialite slappers. i have a lot of mates who are dj's etc and you should see the amount of fake teeny bopper skanks go after them. all good for a bit of fun though.

i have had my fair share of bouncy rides, and i got over it pretty quickly. personally id rather go that extra mile and do it once do it right.

yeh about 1.5 inches more in the front + another inch in the rear.

its not pricey compared to other m325's. theres 2 others on tardme at the moment with sh*t high k's for 10k. and not as tidy.

does anyone know if this sway bar is after market? if so what brand?

i have used a 195/40 on many a set-ups with an 8inch rim and no issues to date. this is for street driving though. and god damn that touring is teh sex!

i only used camber plates so the front wheels would align with the guard, and stretched the tire for the look. 16x8 et20 would sit fine, with a 195 up front.

yeah i will be, after i get the motor running, installed, suspension, brakes, cage etc all done. the cost of building an audi may vary a lot to a bmw, i am running Vogtland Coilovers.
