Yes one could assume that given my engine problems that there is a 2.7 turbo motor going to be built up and put in for 6-8 months until i can afford my Sxx motor. CHeers for the update henry! will be in touch about those tomorow

Well... Bad news starts here. On the way down from picking the touring up, it went through two header tanks of water between auck and chch. I put it down to possibly having a slight leak from a hose or something then went through another one and that got me worried as there were no obvious signs of leaks. Looked on the dipstick and hey presto milky yucky oil. You guessed it, it had a blown head gasket, unimpressed. Anyways on the way down both henry and i noticed a weird noise coming from the diff, so jacked it up only to find that the spider gears in it were really notchy and the diff was a write off. Many thanks to henry for lending me his spare diff! Also the rear subframe bushes are totally shagged (can move subframe with ease with your hands) so im thinking i will leave those till i go 5 stud. Anyways rant over. Bit gutted with the whole thing really.

Also have to agree on the stereo, just finished putting some very good quality rainbow component speakers in my touring in the factory locations and with the factory grills, looks stock but sounds amazing! Looking also to get a custom sub box made to hide it away. But then again i do love my music.

Haha im not going to say just yet, all will be revealed in good time. Have myself a LOT of saving to do put it that way. Would anyone like to swap some rough recaro front seats for some really mint ones with cash my way? no rips or anything in the seats. Also looking for some mint leather door cards if anyone has any? Im doing the interior in suede and leather so would be a shame to do it to mint cloth ones but doesnt really bother me.

hmmm some very close guesses. So does anyone have any tips or advice in my 5 stud conversion? Also the viscous fan goes all the time like right from a cold start up and makes it sound bit like a truck. guessing this means the viscous unit has failed? Also the indicators don't return on the steering wheel half the time, is there any way to fix this? from memory its a little white stalk or something?

Well as you all now know my first e30 v8 which was quite unexpected when Atta rocked up and said he wanted it anyway i had every intention for just buying a late model car and using it and not modifying it. Hmm well i couldnt bear the thought of not modifying my car soooooo i went and bought Apex's touring. Im sure you all know the car and how its a very very tidy car. So i flew up on the weekend and drove that and my new patrol truck down with henry (incary), had a blast. I have very, very big plans for this new car and all i can say at this stage is its going to blow my last one out of the water (all going to plan of course). Very secret squirrel at this stage, however i actually bought some very nice BBS wheels for it and am going to convert it to 5 stud. Now obviuosly im looking for some knowledge on whats the best way to do this. Id love to put the e36 m3 front hubs, discs and calipers on if anyone knows where i can get a set of these? If not, i hear e46 330i stuff fits on e36 hubs? I have a 318ti rear end already and would like to put bigger brakes to match the e36 m3 stuff (if thats the way i go) on the front.. anyone have any ideas?? Id also like to go to adjustable height and damper suspension for it, so im assuming i need e36 front with e30 tops?? Also looking for a z3 steering rack.. Havnt had a chance to take any pics yet but heres some for those that may not know it.

Will hopefully be able to get that diff in this week too! plenty more fun to be had! Miss the old girl to be honest, was a bag of fun. Already got an engine sway lined up for new car haha just cant help myself

Does anyone know what offset is needed for when an e30 is converted to 5 stud using e36 Ti rear end? Maybe different with the z3 too?

Drove a 3.0 Porsche today, was immaculate like amazing, however it felt old compared to the few 3.2 911's i have driven so didn't go down that route. New DD sorted.... Watch this space.
