Seriously nothing much happens with bimmers and intakes/exhausts. Its already pretty decent, so its more placebo. Maybe 2-3hp if i had to pulla number from the sky. Youd need to do intake/exhaust/chip to get anything, and even then nothing major. aatuning.com has numbers. Not worth it.

Im not sure if its going to be worth the money. I'd buy new ones, purely because i doubt that a reconditioner can produce the same product as bilstein, from old parts.

Continentals are terrible. Get some Falken azenis, toyo t1s or something.

328 is going to have a lot more power than a 525, as the 5 will be heavier, less torque. Drive both. 328 will be more sportscar (even more if its a coupe) and the 525 will be more of a cruiser, due to weight, doors and suspension. Id take a 328.

Link doesnt work.. When they mean motorsport, they mean bodykit and possibly suspension/wheels/interior trim. If i were you, i would not get anything lower than a 325. Nothing like a straight six. 318 will keep you yearning for more power...

Vanos gives more low end power. Non Vanos engines were stronger - better valve springs and stuff. In conclusion, youd probably want vanos, unless you want better internals for something.. The other prob is that the non vanos cars were first year e36's and therefore would have been 'the new line with problems' models. 325 and 328 have same HP essentially, but tourque is definately on the 328's side. It will pull faster than a 325, and can arguably be modded to equal e36 M3's (stock) (US spec at least methinks)
